He cannot project his voice. A little hard to hear, however if you REALLY want to learn and get a good grade, you will get a good grade. YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE THE FINAL< aslonf as you got a 90 and above average on 3 exams, and if u didnt, then the final still cannot bring u down if its lower than ur average, it will only raise it. Easy teacher as long as u take notes. Doing hws can help though it really ist necessary to do them. He tries to make class fun by showing funny stats videos lol and the really good thing about his class is that if you get an A avg for his three tests, he lets u skip his final. KBC is easy as long as you pay attention and come to every class. He tries to make class fun by showing us videos. You have to study for tests and if you get an average of an A on the tests then you dont have to take the final. but the final is basically all questions from the previos tests

amazing teacher, knows his stufff and tests are very straightforward, he writes a lot on the board and his notes are extremely useful as well as the problems he gives for homework which are not even mandatory, GREAT professor, id recommend him for Stat, he made the topic a lot more interesting and with such ease that i had expected

Chiu is definitely one of the better statistics teachers compared to the others. Highly possible to get an A in this class if you pay attention in class and review the notes before each test. Heck, if you get an A average on the first two tests, he permits you to miss the final. His teaching style is like that of a high school teacher. Take him.

everyone in high school said stat is crazy hard, but kbc made it SOOO darn easy to get and understand. he gives parties, not tests. and he dances right before each 'party'! he looks like william hung and is super funny. gives hw but u dont even have to do it. easy A if you study and review ur notes and go to class (attendance counts)

I failed this class and I took AP calc in high school. For some reason, his teaching is too inconsistent. He bases his class solely on noted given along with the textbook and doesn't really TEACH but GOES OVER. If you have a background in stats you'll be fine. Otherwise, don't take him.

He is a very funny teacher, but he is not very clear but if you do your hw and pay attention in class,you will do fine. You have to really want to understand and learn in order to get something out of this class.Despite the chaotic students that do not do their work and wonder why they fail, he continues to teach and you just have to try to listen.

HES A VERY HARD professor!...he jumps from one chapter to the next. Within a week, he finish like 3 chapters already. His exams are super hard, and he loves to challenge you. 3 exams and one final. No cruves, no extra credict, and no make ups. If you're late or absent, he counts that towards your grade.

He knows what he's doing, he just doesnt know how to teach. His tests are called parties and they're pretty hard. He moves very fast and is hard to understand. You'll definately need a tutor for this class or else you'll probably fail. Oh and by the way,don't take this class unless you speak Chinese
