Comment:

Incredibly animated and outgoing professor. She is a delight to listen to! But do not let her friendly demeanor fool you. Her tests are not easy. Her syllabus and class notes are somewhat disorganized and difficult to follow. You will have to read through three books. And beware of her progressive politics. Had to do a project on white privilege!

Park is entertaining & passionate about world missions. FOLLOW THE SYLLABUS! 1 page report she literally means 1 page. Dont think to deep into the curriculum. She isnt concerned with how well you can apply what youre learning. Just show up, participate & laugh at her jokes. Study well for the exams. Dont spend too much time on the papers.

She has a great personality that makes lectures fun and impossible to fall asleep during. She's goofy and entertaining, but I have mad respect for the woman. She's intelligent, and does a great job teaching. She really knows what she's talking about, just sometimes what she's trying to say gets confusing. Her tests are difficult; the class is easy.

I absolutely loved taking Christian Missions with Dr. Park. I never missed a class! Her heart for the Lord, missions, and teaching is so evident. She really knows her stuff. I enjoyed how she encouraged class discussion and she is so HILARIOUS! If you need to take CM take it with Dr. Park. The homework load was light and she is so great!

I had Park for intercultural communications and it has probably been my least favorite class at moody thus far. She is very unclear and hard to understand. She is niether helpful nor gracious. Her papers are hard in that she demands you to be extremely detailed and specific but does not allow you to go over a specific page number.

Unclear about details of assignments, very tough grader. OFTEN changes the rules of the class retroactively. Despite ICC being a long block class, Park keeps class time interesting, but don't expect to be treated fairly about grades, even if you talk with her. Overall, her class was a frustrating experience.

Dr. Park, challanged me in so many ways, and helped me to have a new perspective about missions, I hated the Jerusalem to Irian Jiya book, but loved her lectures. She is amazing and I hope to take a class again with her. :)
