Dr. Wilcox is honestly one of the WORST people I have ever met. He is so arrogant and takes points off without having clear points or ideas for assignments. He refuses to use Blackboard so having a clear stance of where your grade is, is non existent. He gives WAY to much work for a 300 level course that is now an AOK credit. A wall is a better fit

He is knowledgeable and passionate and entertaining. There is no rubric for his grading system. Too much reading and essays before mid terms and finals so no study time allotted. Takes too much effort and time away from other classes.

The name of the course is Intro to Drama and Fiction yet the course is nothing about drama and fiction. We read 6-7 books about death and life's hardship and that was it. Do not take this class if you want to enhance your degree. Lance asks a billion and one questions but will not call on you if you raise your hand more than 1 time per class.

Good professor. Boring course. I feel like Wilcox would've been more exciting if the material was more than simply: read book, quiz on book, talk about book. We wrote a few papers, they were fairly easy. He provided good feedback. Grading system is bizarre and he doesnt use blackboard, so you gotta be careful to know where you stand. Overall? Easy.

This man is completely selfish and pretentious. DO NOT expect your opinion to be heard (only his matters). Be prepared to for snarky comments at the expense of your intelligence and constant belittling. You could work incredibly hard on your papers and if you don't repeat what he thinks, you won't get a grade you like.

He is a very straightforward teacher. He knows what he is talking about very well and is open to new ideas. He kept the entire 3 hour class intresting and the papers and homework didnt feel like a drag to do. Very good. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Wilcox is a horrible Poetry teacher. He had no set rubric/guide to what he wanted on his papers making them impossible to recieve a good grade! The most aggravating part was that you never knew what your grade was in the class you had to assume! His grading style is so difficuilt you could write the paper of your life and still recieve a "B"

Professor Wilcox is an awesome man. He is interesting to listen to, and he makes even a three hour literature class bareable. I absolutely reccommend taking him if you are serious about learning and really interested in the class he is teaching. He is fantastic!!

Lance is one of my favorite teachers of all time. He has such a smooth voice that is so easy to listen to. His homework is pretty straight forward and he doesn't ask too much of the class. There is a lot of discussion in class and as long as you read the books, you will do just fine. He is a good looking silver fox and has the best sense of humor!

this man is a legend in his own mind. write a perfect paper and you will still recieve a B. he thinks a students life revolves around his class. i recieved a B in his class, it was my first B in college. this man lives in his own world. he cant tune up his own car but he can sure inturpret (for you) jonsons essays

He is a good Professor to take. This class was just discussion based. He has a lot of experience with 18th Century Lit, and he has a great voice. I received a low grade, but I blew off the class so I deserved it. He wants well written English papers, but is not a hard grader.
