Larry was one of the best teachers I have ever had. He definitely knows the subject,in fact, he has taught some of the instructors at the college much of what they know. We didn't use any text for the class, because there wasn't one that was up to his standards. So sad that he passed away last week. He will be greatly missed.

If you want to learn how to use a camera for forensics, this is the man to take, he knows his stuff! The first few classes suck because they are lecture but after that everything is hands on. Do not be intimidated by him, he truly wants to teach and wants you to learn!

Larry has a gruff exterior, but he is an excellent teacher. He is very knowledgeable about this field and will help you any way he can, as long as you ask. Midterm and exam are fairly easy as long as you pay attention to the lectures.

I had Larry for Adv. Photo and was greatly impressed with what I learned. He wants you to learn how to do it in the field, so there are a lot of labs. You must have your general knowledge from the Intro class to succeed. Larry is a great funny man who cares about his students. If you want to learn, take Larry's class.

A little gruff but more than willing to help you understand--especially if he sees that you are trying. Doesn't tolerate "gov't work" attitude. Insists that you learn to do it right--no 2nd chances once you are in the feild. You will know your stuff when you get out of his class.

He's really a funny guy, which made the class more interesting. Don't be afraid of him! Ask questions if you need to. He expects a lot from you, so know the material. Sometimes he expects you to remember things that he said once, weeks ago.
