I have never met a professor more in love with science and the material he is teaching. He makes every class interesting and involving. His study guides are great, and he almost always goes over everything in detail that will be on an upcoming test. As silly as he is, he is an amazing professor, and he'll win you over quickly.

everything on his tests comes out of the study guides that he hands out in class. if you just read the study guide that he gives out and take my word you WILL get a "A" in the class. if you don't then there's something wrong!!! he's bubbly and willing to help in any way. if you're planning to take diversity and ecology or field zoology save your ow

I loved dr. latson! He is one of those professors that make the cheesiest jokes, but makes you laugh. He definately loves biology and gets so into teaching! Gives all your notes to you and study guides, so if you look over them, you will do great! I made an A easily, but I am a bio person.

great guy, gives great notes, but you do have to study quit a bit for the tests, but he helps you if you dont get something. his labs are long and full of dissecting so if you have a weak stomach good luck, and the hardest tests in that course are the lab tests so study up like a 2 weeks before

Dr. Latson is an AMAZING professor, and I would recommend him whether you're a biology major or you can't stand science. He makes everything extremely clear, and is always willing to help you understand a concept that you may not understand. He's a really funny, nice guy and his class was extremely easy. Definitely take him for diversity & ecology!

He is a great teacher! If you just write down his keywords, that is all you have to look for on his tests. Just memorize his "latson memory scheme" He was my favorite teacher. He is so sweet too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!
