Fantastic teacher, but not for those that are easily offended or wadded up. If you don't take his jokes or topic discussions personally and keep it about the literature you will find him hilarious. I wish I had more time to take more of his classes. I've taken 3 or 4 only 2 of which were required. Worth it!

Larry is one of the best teachers you will ever have!! He is my favorite professor overall. He makes conversations interesting, instead of boring lectures. Anyone who says that he is a bad professor should maybe open their eyes and minds a little freakin bit! Shame on you for your nasty words.

Larry was a very fun teacher. I learned a lot about him. He can be very offensive but he will apologize if you address anything he says that offended some. I think he uses his male status to his advantage with it being an all women's college which isnt very good. I learned a lot in his class. He was very helpful!

Larry is a wonderful professor. I now have my 2nd class with him, and I would have a bunch more if I could fit it in. He exsplans everything to you, and if you need help all you have to do is call/email him. He dosen't mind you calling him at home and he responds to emails within 24 hr. He is down to earth and REALLY enjoys teaching the subjects that he dose. He really gets in to the topics he is teaching. He dose talk about sex and gender a lot, but that is something covered in all Woman's studys classes.

I loved him! Very fun, actually made you want to go to class and write papers. Talks about sex in a very adult way, some people still think sex is too taboo to talk about even in college...grow up. Shillock was awesome..I would want to take another one of his classes just for fun!!!
