Took online. It was an easy A. Lots of busy work - had to do 10+ short papers in a 7 week course. Lectures online were not mandatory to attend.

Comment:

Overall Dr. Weinstein taught a good course. Easy A but you will have to put in some significant effort if you want to learn about supply chain. To get an A: do the writing assignments as instructed in the syllabus and take the practice exams 30-40 times to get the entire test bank of questions that can be asked on the actual midterm and final.

I feel like I didn't learn anything from this professor. He is an easy guy, you will get A if you work hard. However, his lectures are so dry, and I couldn't focus on the class. He offered practice quizzes for every exam, and I took 20 to 30 times to pull all questions from quiz banks then memorized the questions and answers.

There was a lot of papers and homework but if you do the requirements he give to the exact specifications then you will do great! He was very caring and always willing to help.

Took online. He offered weekly lectures which I didn't find very helpful. Grades come from midterm, final (open note/book), and doing activities like reading articles/watching podcasts and writing short papers. Do the practice attempts before the actual exams- many questions are repeated. I didn't learn a lot, just that SCM is a huge topic.

Dr. Weinstein is a very knowledgeable professor and caring teacher. I had him online and the class was a little boring. The inclass students had some fun projects and exercises. Most of the coursework was reading articles and watching podcasts and writing briefs about the topic of supply chain. I learned a ton from this. Great teacher!

Really nice professor, you can see he has a genuine passion for the material. Online material is very well organized and structured. When I took wasn't heavy on discussion rqmnts or quizzes. He can go off topic during lectures, but attendance isn't required in online program. Can access later and FFWD when needed. I would take course w/ him again.

Got an A, but I didn't learn a thing. He was disorganized & hard to follow because he would click through pwpts & show you problems he already did. He does everything using software which is useful, but not if he doesn't show you how to use it. Exams on pilot come from online test banks (most times). If you need stats for your job look elsewhere.

Nice guy. Took as evening class, which I actually recommend. He's very scatter brained, takes a while to do a problem and may mess up a few times, but we're only human. Exams are online, easy, allowed to have outside windows open because of Excel. Don't have to take final. Don't get the book, I literally never used it. Left early most days.

Easiest A I ever got. Do not take Chesen MS2050, take Weinstein. All exams are online, open book/open internet. 3hr Night Class. I went to one class and left at break an hour and half later. Never went again. Still got on A. Google test questions. He literally copy pastes them from a test bank you can find online.

Avoid at all costs. Lectures are irrelevant and boring. I learned nothing from this class except details on General Motors which I could care less about. He shows boring, archaic videos that are irrelevant today.

I learned 0 amount of info. He talked for 3 hours straight but never showed us how to do the HOMEWORK so it took FOREVER. 2nd day of class people stopped attending lecture and the FIRST thing he says is "Oh wow, I guess I better grade attendance next time" INSTEAD of evaluating himself and his techniques.. pfft. If you want to learn don't take him.

I can honestly say I learned absolutely nothing from this professor except how to use Spreadsheets to pass the tests. The homework for each chapter took several hours because he did not teach how to use the spreadsheets for the homework, only the exams. Would seriously not recommend him to anyone.
