If you have to take IT 14 as a requirement DO NOT TAKE ANY OTHER PROF. Lally is amazing! She is nice and her class is so easy. Her lectures go over her powerpoints which she posts online. Only 3 tests & are super easy. She wants everyone to do well and will help you. Very few, easy assignments. Taking her for IT was the best decision I ever made.

Dr. Lally is an exceptional professor. Not only do we learn a lot about IT and IS in class, she has additional information about each topic on blackboard to further our reading. Whenever I have an question, I can email her and she will respond. Great professor overall and highly recommend.

This class was a complete joke! If you want to learn anything about IT or excel/access, DO NOT TAKE HER. No one listens and her tests have nothing to do with IT. She is super easy but I learned nothing and that did not help me for accounting.

Lally's IT14 is definitely one of the easiest classes that can be taken at the university. Although Lally doesn't go into depth, regarding the coursework, she tells some interesting anecdotes. Overall, homework is virtually nonexistent and the exams are facile. Lally cares about the well-being of her students and is certainly a fair professor.

Lally doesn't know much about the topic that she was supposed to be teaching. She couldn't help me when I had questions she had to call the TA over to show us BOTYH how to do things If you take IT 31, you won't know anything because she doesn't know coding. Basically, if you want an easy A, take her. If you want to learn something, then don't.

Very easy class. She certainly knows the material very well, but it is extremely dry and because I knew excel and power point before the class I got nothing out of the class. The sessions were only 45 minutes long, which was great because I got very little out of the time I was in class because of the dry material.

The easiest class I have taken since middle school. I was suppose to have a 2hr 30min class.. but we usually got out after 45 minutes. (Record was a 16 minute class). You may THINK that there is a lot of material and it's going to be a hard test, but you'll be relieved to find out it's a joke. TAKE HER and enjoy an easy A!

Basically what everyone else said. Except she made a clerical error in my final grade and didn't change it for 2 months. I had to contact the IT/QM chairperson in order to get it done. Class was such a waste. I wish I had taken a better teacher.

This was the easiest class I have ever taken. It's a complete joke. I think I showed up 4 times during the semester (she does not take attendance). I didn't buy the textbook either-you won't need it trust me. Easiest A earned. The classes are 45 minutes long which is great....take lally if you are taking this class as a requirement.

An absolute gem of a woman. Incredibly relatable. Super easy. Knows the class is a boring requirement, and makes it doable. Classes are 45 minutes long. Use the study guides she gives you, and you will get an A.

Lally is great! Her class is so easy. One powerpoint presentation on any topic you choose and an excel project that takes five minutes, a midterm and final. She offers extra credit (not that you'll need it) You get lab credit for never going to a lab, and the class is usually a half hour at the most. TAKE HER!

Easiest class I have had so far. You don't need to apply any effort at all or even go to class. She doesn't hold the lab and class is usually over in 20 minutes. She canceled so many of our classes and talks too fast to take notes... but it doesn't matter because she hands out study sheets of everything needed for the test.

The easiest class I have EVER taken. On the one hand, it was a good thing. On the other hand, it was a huge waste of time and money. I know more about Professor Lally's personal life than Information Technology. If you actually care about the subject, take this class with a different professor. By far the easiest class I have taken in College, High School, Middle school, or elemenatary. One exam multiple choice question was "Why is it a bad idea to leave a drink next to your computer". Answer: "Because it can spill and cause damage". This should sum up this class for you. Take this class and get the easy A (4 credits!!)

Professor Lally is nice. You get a decent amount of classes canceled. You don't need to buy the book. There are only a few short homework assignments. Only a midterm and final-she tells you what will exactly be on them-so study what she gives you. If you actually want to learn about IT-then don't take this class. Easy A.

OK, so maybe this class is easy...but what do you expect when we're all growing up in the information age & have computers? If you don't know how to use email, excel, or powerpoint then READ the texts and ask her for help. If you do, then don't bother with the texts just go to class & do the assignments. She's very down to earth & easy going.
