She is cool as hell, but definitely only take the class if you think you are good at philosophical stuff or else you'll want to stab yourself in the throat. Otherwise, it's a very easy class.

Professor Odom is a good teacher considering her short duration being one and the kinds of questions a philosophy class can bring up. While philosophy may be hard for some, it's questions are important and Dr. Odom tries to get students to grasp the importance of the subject and explain it clearly.

i HATED this class! she has no idea who u are and therefore does not help u. i was lost, did bad on tests, and when i asked her questions she looked at me like i was MORON! hate her!!

I didn't find her incredibly hard, but I didn't find her incredibly easy or interesting either. I suppose it's just whether you can grasp the material or not.

She is too abstract in her teaching. Her tests are insanely difficult for a gen ed. She also told us that other Philosophy teachers were unable to answer some questions on her test.
