Tough grader and the in class assignments can be stressful. You will learn plenty of useful information for real life use. If you show up late to class she wont let you in so make sure to always email her if you are running late.

The class wasn't difficult but her grading isn't really that clear. She grades a little too harshly. Also, she doesn't let anyone into her class late. She closes the door at the time the class is supposed to start and you can't come in. There is a lot of reading to do but it is bearable. It was an interesting class overall.

Dr. Rozakis is such a fun professor. She is engaging and cares about her students. If you have an issue or need anything just talk to her and she'll work something out. if you work hard and put the effort in her class is an easy A!

This professor is such a nice person but her class is no easy A. The downside to her class was I feel like I left her class confused every time. Shes not clear on what she wants done in class. She explains instructions briefly and youre left to figure it out for yourself. She allows rewrites but even getting an A on those is hard.

Dr. Rozakis was one of my favorite professors. She is a tough grader but very fair. She lets you do rewrites of you papers based on the feedback she gives you on your work. I would take another class with her. Fun and kwirky personality that makes learning more interesting. Great professor!

She's not clear. I like to know exactly what the professor wants me to do, and I was just left confused the majority of the time. She will vaguely tell you to do something, and not explain any further. I don't like that at all. She's a very intelligent, respected person, but I wouldn't recommend taking her class.

One of the many reasons why I love FSC. Dont leave this one to chance take this class with Dr. Rozakis. The course is very relevant to the real world and her knowledge and advice is extremely helpful to everyday writing. She truly cares about her students and it shows. Overall a valuable class and an exceptional professor.

Funny professor who tries to make the class interesting. Goes off topic a lot, but grades your papers harshly. Beware of having to do multiple re-writes since she corrects things A LOT. Overall good professor though because she teaches the material well

Professor Rozakis is such a thorough and interesting teacher. I loved her EGL 101 class. I found the class challenging but I learned more from it than I have from any other Farmingdale course. She is the best!

She has you write essays that are due at the end of class. I had a difficult time with this. After she grades them, you are allowed to re-write them to get a better grade. She is a very tough grader. She asks you to buy her textbooks and has you read them occasionally. She expects the best out of you and gives advice on how to write better.

Laurie Rozakis is an incredible teacher. She cares about the students, and wants to help you grow as a person. Be warned; she will grade your submissions harshly, especially on grammar, but it's tough love and you will learn a lot from it. I can not recommend this course strongly enough.

She tries her best to be helpful and prepare you for the real world. Instead, you are brining your assignment up to her every four seconds to match what she wants and not what is in the book. Extremely critical with little clarification. Rewrites do not improve grade they are simply another grade.
