Laurie is such a sweet heart! She is a great professor. Go to review sessions they are very helpful. There is a huge group project but it's not too crazy, she helps you with every step! I would recommend her :)

I LOVED HER! I am a business major, and I am so glad that I am because I want to be just like her when I am in the field. She is super smart and helpful. I felt comfortable raising my hand and emailing her for help. I learned SO MUCH. Didn't get an A but I still loved the class. I actually retained what I learned for once.

She was a great professor! Her exams were extremely challenging. Very helpful! Daily readings each week and you get lots of bonus points. Make sure you ask a lot of questions to get things clarified!

Strangeman is always prepared for class and is a very good teacher. Not much homework in the course, tests are pretty easy if you show up to class and put in a little time. She understands how to make students understand and that big concepts are really all that matter. She wears cute clothes and is a great teacher!

Laurie does a good job of teaching a pretty dull class. She's a really nice lady and is very helpful. Ask questions in class, but if you're not that type of student she's often times available in her office. I would definitely recommend her to any student required to take BUS 230

Very nice teacher and explains things very well. She tells you exactly what will be on the test, but her test questions are sometimes tricky. I spent quite a bit of time studying for Econ, but ended up getting an AB. I'd definitely recommend her though, she's a great professor.

Great Professor. She's really helpful, if you ever have a problem she's usually in her office. 230 as a class is dry and can be painful, she really helps students through it though and makes sure you actually learn something- so I guess don't take her if you hate learning. Very nice though.

Hands down the best econ professor at uwl. I love her classes, they are somewhat challenging but you walk away from the class with a lot of useful knowledge and her lectures are pretty interesting.Write down everything she has on the board and study the notes and you'll do fine in her classes. I would recommend her to anyone and she's smokin HOT!!!

Professor Strangman is extremely knowledgable about what she teaches. She is extremely organized and has a plan for each class period and sticks to it. Dr. Strangman is one of the best professors at UW-L. She's tough but very fair, and always lets her students know what is expected of her. She's also very helpful, attractive, friendly, and genuinely interested in both economics and the success of her students. You'll learn a lot from her.
