Assigned the book "Story" which we worked on at the beginning of the semester. The book rails on about the "Do-s & Don't-s" of writing a "successful" novel. It's absolute ****. She puts a lot of emphasis on what works and doesn't work according to her. My dream is to be a novelist and I felt like the class crippled a part of my creativity.

very helpful but unclear, gives pointless busy work and says one thing but does another. worst experience at saddleback. good structure teacher but you end up writing her story, not yours. plays favorites big time

boaring class in the beginning but when you read stories and write them yourself, its beautiful. You get to see just how wacko some stories are!!!I loved it. DO the work and get an A. P.S. she's willing to do anything for a student!!!
