This is the lecture I looked forward to every Tuesday/Thursday. Dr. Brownstein is so funny and really knows his material. He does not really care about social issues unless it specifically relates to the human sexuality, which is sometimes off putting. If your opinion is not based on fact, he will call you out on it. I highly recommend his class.

Easily the funnest class I've taken at UT. Dr. Brownstein is hilarious and there's almost no homework plus plenty of opportunities for extra credit. He doesn't do the plus/minus grading system which is nice so I regret making this class pass/fail. The first test is the hardest and sometimes he makes the tests open-note. Definitely take this class.

one of the best professors at UT. he is hilarious and loves to get to know specific people he can pick on during the semester. 3 exams (3rd is open notes) and 5 thought papers that have no page length requirement. 86 is an A if you do all the thought papers. one of the best classes I have taken at UT and i wished he taught more classes. take him!

Dr. Brownstein is hilarious and knowledgeable. He makes class so engaging. There are 3 (easy) exams and 5 thought papers (literally write anything about the topic he assigned). Super fun! He loves to call on you at random so be prepared to answer questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I love Dr. Brownstein's Human Sexuality class! He is so hilarious and engaging that I cannpt recommend him enough. Tests are easy and the lectures are interesting so it's something we look forward to attending instead of dreading.

Brownstein is HILARIOUS! He is so animated and makes the lectures so interesting. I took it this Summer - we had 5 thought papers and 2 exams. The course was fairly easy. Attendance isn't mandatory but you want to be there plus he notices when you're gone. I really enjoyed this class, would definitely take him again! I highly recommend this class!

Wish I could take again. Honestly the best way to describe Brownstein and his class is that he's a trip. He understands some people are discussing sex in this setting and makes it very funny without being immature. Easy exams, (3rd is open notes) and 4 extra credit pts added to OVERALL AVERAGE just for doing the minimal papers (1 paragraph each).

He's so funny and the class was SO easy (plus you actually learn things that you should keep in mind later in life). Just 3 tests and some thought papers that are graded on completion. He gives like 6 points in extra credit and the only sorta hard test is the first. The other 2 tests are cake! plus he lets you use your notes on the last one.

week 1-3 of class, my thoughts were "I can't believe he just said that! There is no way he's allowed to say that!" I just attended his last lecture for the semester and all I can think is "How come I wasn't taught all of this sooner?" Brownstein will actually teach you and not only will you learn, you will remember it! Best professor at UT by far!

Dr. B the best professor I've had at UT, and I'm going into my last semester here. He's funny and interesting, and I actually LEARNED something. The best thing, for me anyways, is that his tests aren't just multiple choice so there's an opportunity for partial credit. Also, he gives plenty of extra credit:) Definitely take his class!

Dr. Brownstein is the best professor I've ever had at UT. He is hilarious and picks on students so it makes the class entertaining. Attendance is not mandatory, because as he says so himself: you will want to go to class every day. Tests are EXACTLY on what he says they will be on; no surprises. Tests are mostly if not purely based on lecture. :)

Dr. Brownstein is an amazing teacher! His class is the most fun I've had in any class. Great information, requires class participation if you are there. He is really open and he includes stories from his own medical practice. It was really interesting and fun, also it was very easy if you went to class.
