I thought Lesley was a great prof - her lectures were good, she makes it clear what you need to know for exams and is approachable and understanding. Chemistry has never been my best subject, but I ended up actually enjoying this course! would definitely take chem again with her in the future.

Comment:

Lesley is very sweet. Her teaching style is clear although she goes quickly an==in notes and often blocks the overhead. Labs are fun and she marks them fairly although her expectations for them are never actually discussed. She is helpful and accommodating. Tests are straight forward and if you study you will succeed on them.

Lesley was unclear of what she wanted in the lab but the labs were fun. Also if you memorize the notes from the course package you will do great on the exams! MEMORIZE, MEMORIZE, MEMORIZE!

Lab portion of the class is great, but it's hard to get perfect marks on the lab as she isn't always clear what details she wants. The lectures were AWFUL. Very poorly planned,and extremely boring. She hasn't figured out to make a slideshow herself, uses an overhead projector and just reads out facts, no details, very hard to understand.

NO NEED OF BUYING A TEXT BOOK! she does not use it at all so you save your money on that one! She's a very nice teacher who know's her stuff. The labs were fun and way shorter then the 3 hours given to do them. Just attend every class and take all the notes she gives you and you'll do fine.

Lesley is a really sweet lady. Her teaching style is very clear, and so are her notes. She's very approachable and makes herself available for extra help if you need it. I found the class challenging and quite boring, but there is no homework which is nice. There are 2 midterms and the final, and a tip..don't buy the textbook you don't need it

Lesley has obviously taught this course many times. I had no trouble learning from her, and she made every effort to help all students understand the material. The textbook is never used in this class. Don't buy it! Course package is sometimes hard to decipher as it's been photocopied too many times. I would certainly take class with Lesley again

If you want to learn, take Lesley! She's definately taught this course before and has teaching "down to a science." Very knowledgeable all around, and willing to explain everything. Don't bother getting the text book, use the course package for excersises and she gives you all you need to know! AWESOME

Forensics was a really fun class, the labs were amazing!!Good guest speakers and good movies!Tests were a bit hard, no essays to do, but a lab every week,but they aren't too hard, lesley and her lab assistant Leanne were awesome!I want to take the exact smae class again!make sure you read the textbook a bit for tests!

This class is handed to you on a platter. The notes and labs are basically fill in the blanks. Material is very interesting and the speakers are amazing. Do the reading study a lot for the tests and put some effort into the labs and you will do awesome. Lesley is super nice too and really friendly.
