Miller is by far the best professor Ive ever had. I added a philosophy minor because of him. Intro to Logic was the hardest class Ive taken, but he sets you up to succeed. Such a great guy, and genuinely cares about every one of us in the class. Couldnt ask for anyone better.

Just a warning, you'll hate him the first week of class because he doesn't accept laziness or excuses, but tough through the first week and do the assignments and you'll realize he is a really cool guy who is actually really funny. Likes to pick on people, swears, and above all, is REAL. No textbook required, but a lot of printing. You'll like him

I highly recommend this professor as he will give you the tools to challenge your beliefs with the intent to clarify your mind. It's an easy but tough class. There's a lot of writing and reading, which is easy to do, but understanding everything will take repetition. Anyone who wants critical thinking exposure should take him.

Miller is my favorite professor of all time. Smart, funny, really engaging, and he makes you think. There is a lot of work but he's an easy grader and it's not hard. Just show up and be active in the discussion and I guarantee you learn something! Textbook was optional. I didn't need it!

Phenomenal educator!! Tries to turn you into a philosopher with interesting lectures, introspection and mounds of work. Don't give up on the work load, be open and pay attention, and you'll accidentally end up a better person. (Also, he tends to pick on people, but give it right back and you'll have fun.)

I took his class for a humanities credit and ended up really enjoying his class. You're either going to love him, or hate him. He's super sarcastic and likes to just randomly cancel class - which I found awesome! Initially, I was really intimidated by his class, but I ended up doing pretty well. Biggest piece of advice: READ THE BOOKS!

He's a nice guy, and a good teacher of the subject Critical Thinking. I read good reviews of him but overall I wasn't too impressed. He's not mean, but he likes to pick on people in class. Makes you think in depth about subjects and can be tricky. Also, you have a paper due every week which gets old.

Took "Intro to Philosophy" to fill up some credit hours - didn't think I would love the class as much as I did. Dr. Miller is a funny and thought provoking professor. Expect to examine your own and other's opinions and beliefs with a critical eye. Watch out though - you might end up taking a philosophy class every semester

He makes class so interesting! It's fun to come to class. If you're a very sensitive person and don't like to be picked at sometimes, or you don't like having to look at other opinions, don't take this class. I have to say, that he is one of my favorite teachers here at mesa state.
