Dr. Smith is both a nice instructor and a dedicated one. The subject material is difficult, but Dr. Smith does his best to make it easier to understand. His only down sides are that he mumbles his lectures and sometimes has a difficult time relating to his students.

You have to read the book and work problems at the back of the book. Know everything on his review sheets as well as know how to do previous years exams. His standard of grading seems to change year to year. He's not the best lecturer, has the tendency ramble off topic or go into unnecessary detail that does nothing but confuse his students.

He is easy, very few homework but you need to do it every week. There is 1 quiz every week, but the quiz is easy because he just asks you what you have learned in class, in sample problems he gave in class. You need to read book if you want to get an A, just skim over to have overall understanding and know how to do homework!Not hard to get an A, h

Some say he's hard, but it sin't Smith that's hard,it's the subject.Chemistry is hard, so you need to apply yourself.The tests are easy if you do the reading.His jokes are weak tho.He's a nice guy,and hella smart!He knows everything chem-oriented!Be warned tho, you'll have nights of no sleep sometimes...seriously

Worst lecturer I've ever had! Rambles, skips topics, then asks very specific test questions that he didn't cover. Take with someone else. Tests are HARD! I'm usually an A student and am struggling in this class.
