Comment:

Prof Sidharta is a great teacher. She makes jokes about herself and you. She is really passionate about chemistry and wants you to learn so if you don't understand it the first time then she will call you out about not paying attention if you didn't. Talks about her dog alot. The test are online and then you have a written part about it.

Look, overall shes the best you'll get in a chem120/121 prof. A lot of people say she has mood swings and she's definitely put me in my place when I didn't know somethings. But dont take it personal. Think of it as her being a parent that expects highly of you. All she wants if for her student to succeed. she is fair and funny.

She's funny, her lectures are understandable, and she DOES offer to meet for a study group when her schedule works out for it. 1. Give this class TIME. While she only tests on what she discusses in her lectures, she'll move quickly and expect you to study in depth at home. 2. ASK QUESTIONS. 3. You NEED to read the book for the homework.

Comment:

Not only is she a good teacher, she is a great mentor. She really inspired me to continue in science after being discouraged for so long! Her teaching is straight to the point and everything on the test is what you learned in class. Tip: print out the powerpoint and write notes on them during lecture. Her lectures are very important for the test.

HARD class if you study you might be okay the test are DIFFICULT all points are points lots of quizzes in the beginning of the year are all EXTRA CREDIT which will HELP YOU A LOT alot of memorizing things like polyatomic ions and what not lots of ONLINE HOMEWORK which is a pain TEST are HARD so dont think it is an easy A because it surely is not

Wonderful teacher, really knows her stuff. She will answer any questions you ask, can be kind of intimidating though. So I usually wait until after she finished lecturing to ask her questions. A lot of hw online, the labs are pretty simple, lots of points throughout semester. So even if you do poor on tests, you can still get a good grade.

I'm taking her for summer right now and I've never understood Chemistry in more clarity than I have now-- well at least so far. She's really straight forward about what will be on her tests and also gives extra credit quizzes. Considering how this is a 6 week course, I'm able to still keep up and not stress.

Dr. Sid is a very helpful professor. She's clear in class. If you are loss, make sure to ASK QUESTIONS! She's not easy, nor hard, but she's very strict. Class and labs are at night but if you are quick, you can leave early. I love Dr. Sid, she pushes everybody because she cares a lot to her students. Lectures are never boring!

I HATED Chem before I took Dr. Sid's class. But I love chem now and am doing extremely well in her class..she's funny and is an excellent teacher. She simplifies so much! Highly recommended!

She is a fair teacher. She does use analogies and she DOES NOT play favorites. Very affable, and likes to keep the class interesting. I am HAPPY I took her class and learned a lot. However, this is not just some "easy class", and you have to work hard to get your desired grade;at times you might find the tests rather daunting but keep your head up!

I didn't have enough space to continue; there are too many great things to say about Dr.S. There was one last thing I wanted to say though. Take her class, you won't regret it! She's a lovely person, and she really cares about your grades, she wants you to learn. Also, unlike most teachers she gets to know you, so get to know her!

Dr. S is a great teacher!! Her lectures are definitely understandable, and they are NOT boring! What I like about her the most is that she's knowledgeable; she knows the topics very well!
