Norman Lincoln Hanks... Words cannot describe the incredible amount of anxiety and stress he creates for his students. Knows the material, but approahces everything like his students do too. Not personable; Rude; Condescending. Wants us to visit, but I'm sorry, I'm not about to go ask for help from a man who constantly belittles my intelligence.

nLH is pathetic. Unfortunately in the music program at Pepperdine it is almost impossible to avoid him. Try to. I have countless stories about this man which will turn your stomach upside down. He misses the concept of music, constantly abuses power without authority, and is universally despised.

Dr. Hanks is a genius. He is hard because the subject is hard... those of you who don't get it, shouldn't blame him... stop whining and pay attention - you might just learn something from an incredible teacher. He is entirely available to help his students and knows more than you ever will.

He assigns ridiculous assignments as if you have nothing better in life to do.He treats you like a child in your work and makes his students feel like they're completely incoherent.
