He is one of those cases where he is practically a genius, but has a difficult time engaging on a student level. He is INSANELY intelligent and teaches very interesting topics, but his lectures are very dry. The reading is really important. He has a great sense of humor.

Can talk for hours about nothing. Isn't really helpful. Just do your readings and get a study buddy. For the dry-a** lectures offered he is WAY TOO SERIOUS about attendance and tardiness
