She knows biology, but that doesn't mean she can teach it to others. She is not a good teacher. She doesn't know how to make up an exam, so the test will be EXTREMELY LONG becouse it has about 80 questions some people couldn't finish half the tests on time. Useless PowerPoint slides all pictures mostly about her trips.

Highly recommended. I took her class online and initially struggled with submissions. She invited me to her office, walked me though the steps, and maintained contact moving forward. I expressed interest in earning a perfect grade and she took the initiative to coach me through the process of earn the best grade possible.

Love her! Great teacher, great lectures(interesting too), and caring! I would only study the notes and power points for her class. Although, I do recommend the book to go an extra mile! One tip: follow the directions. If not, she will have a brief lecture about why it's important to follow them. I recommend her! 5 star.

She gives useless outlines and assignments. When you ask a question she can't answer it and tell you don't interrupt the class and she will take professional points off. She loves and favores the long hair boys who acts like girls!!!!. Never take her.

Shes not easy, honestly. I studied so much for her exams and I literally couldn't fathom her exams. Disappointed. Lab was also difficult, quizzes were hard.

She gets so angry for simply asking a question. She doesn't care about the students. I don't recommend her at all. Take other professors who actually like their jobs and care about you.

She basically just reads from her PowerPoint. If you ask her a question, she can barely answer it. See tutors for help and clarification instead of going to her. She is arrogant and gets mad when you go to her office hours!.

Very poor teacher. She doesn't provide useful information in lecture, and gives no study guides or any other material to help us learn. DO NOT take this teacher. Makes the easiest biology concept like mystery!!

Out of 20+ more classes taken at HFC this will go down the worst because of her. NO ENTHUSIASM AND THE OUTLINES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE EXAM, SO BORING (on the plus side if you have a hard time falling asleep she will put you right to it).

she does give extra credit! Many teachers dont. Drops low quiz grade. Lets you skip a test and retake it later. But tests are super hard expects you to learn so many things. I am a all A's student and couldnt deal with this class! trust me take somone else.

The only promblem with her is that she doesnt know how to teach students who dont know anything in biology. She just assumes you know everything already. 4 tests (including final). Lab quiz every lab you even get a lab quiz when there is a test. Quizes are like tests. If you dont need to take this class save your self!

Mrs. Brandt was okay. She would have her moments where she's all nice and stuff but then one little thing makes her go crazy. She takes points off for the dumbest things, like writing answers on a separate paper. I personally wouldn't take her or recommend her to anyone.

Mrs. Brandt is the best professor ever. She teaches very well and types the notes for us. She tells you that you don't need to study the book just her notes and she isn't lying. Tests are 100% from the notes.
