I'm a very nervous public speaker and was terrified to take this class, but I'm glad I did. The class atmosphere was very relaxed which made giving speeches a lot less nerve-racking. There were 8 speeches; first was the worst but they got easier. Quizzes were very definition heavy. The teacher was very supportive, kind, and helpful. Extra Credit!

100% recommend. I absolutely without a doubt hate talking in front of people. I wanted to cry at the thought of taking speech. But she is the best teacher for this subject. She makes you feel comfortable and by the end of this class, I wasn't nervous. You must attend every class. You do a lot of speeches but it gets easy after awhile. Take her!!!!!

Uhm I should have disregarded the information I saw here about how great she is. She gives you a test and even if what you say is correct, if it is not the exact word in the book she marks the entire question wrong and that makes your grades suffer. Tests are 8 questions so being marked down for not using exact word in 2 questions gives you a C.

Very difficult to deal with...so strict..I passed the class but i hardly learned anything but to write the paper her way..and any other way is wrong..even the way you type your name...she'll deduct marks for that...she is nice..or atleast looks like it..and most of the time the class is fun..

very easy...just do the work and you will pass. when writing papers make sure to correct everything she said to and always put it in the format she wants. she very nice and easy to get along with.
