She is VERY intelligent and knows about her subject, but she is a HARD grader, not fair on exams, and takes FOREVER to get ANYTHING back to you. She tells you she is going to curve and not to worry about your grade. DON'T believe it. There's a reason she doesn't have tenure and spends half her class complaining about it.

I took in her Biol 152 class. She had never taught freshmen and you could tell. I studied for 7-10 hours and still had no clue on the exams. I think for students with a background in plants the course was a lot easier. It bothered me that she did everything last min and took forever to grade exams, but she expected so much!!!

She is a very nice lady and great professor, I just didn't like the class because I'm not a plant person. Not a difficult class though, and she gives you the outline of her notes before each test. Study that and the book, and you will get a good grade.

I was doubtful at first, but surely became one of my most favorite professors of all time. She is fun and is CRaZy about plants!!! I can't look at my house plants the same way ever again. I absolutely recommend her for plant courses.

I have no idea why anyone has said anything negative, I HATE biology, I suck at it! but gotan A, study like 10 minutes for the quiz by reading your notes, notes are also available online which is helpful if you miss class. Class actually seems to go by quick, she's fun, Gives test reviews too.

Amazing teacher!! Loves to give her notes on powerpoint, which helps with organization. Has hard tests, but if you know the material, you should do well. Gives some extra credit, but it's nothing too big. Overall, greatest Biology teacher I've had!!
