He's very knowledgeable and is good at explaining concepts. However his lectures are very dry and boring. He does NOT use power points, just lectures directly from the book of notes he wrote. There is rarely any visual aids or pictures in color to help you learn which means there are no lecture slides posted to D2L but he does post voice recording

Professor was one of the most boring I have had and demanding. He seems to be very egocentric and in my experience, definitely not approachable nor does he listen well to others.

Was probably my least favorite professor. He just reads straight from the book he wrote himself and is extremely dry and boring. His tests are difficult and if you don't study at least 2 weeks in advanced you probably won't do well. He does have extra credit which is nice but you're only allowed up to 10 points. Would recommend taking it with Bray.

Biology with Dr. Sepsenwol was amazing! He has a different sense of humor, but nonetheless a great guy. Dr. Sepsenwol teaches from the book he requires the class to buy and his exams questions are from out of that book. If you put in the effort to study, you will get an A.

Had him for the SEM workshop, can't imagine how rough a longer class with him would be. He comes off as hard to approach, but if you talk to him you can tell he really cares. He is unclear on the grading criteria and the workshop felt like he was just winging it as we went along. He had moments where he was clearly impatient with students.

Dr, Sepsenwol's ego matches his PhD and in reality he is pretty bad at interacting with students who are not predmed or at least getting an A in the class. He is very intellegent and I will admit the lab sessions were a positive experience but with his personality he should really be working with grad students and not undergraduates.

Lab with Dr. Sepsenwol was a positive experience. He's a very smart guy and not afraid to show it. He spices things up with bits of trivia as well as doing a great job of teaching the broad concepts. Also, he's very receptive to talking to students in his office or research lab.

Amazing professor. People complain that the class is tough but it truly isn't. If you think this class was tough then you are a CLS or Wellness major. If you are a bio major you will find his class easy. He gives you a copy of his lecture notes and only tests from thing in those notes. If you read the notes and study its the easiest A you will get!

I received "A"s in his classes, but had to work for them. Study before going to class, he lectures on what the notes lack. Spend an hour reading over the paragraphs and diagrams in the lecture notes before class. You should to be able to draw/lable the simple diagrams and flow charts from memory. If you're confused, proactively read the text book.

He's got his own lab manual and lecture notes so you don't have to open the textbook AT ALL, but you have to know every little piece of information from cover to cover of the lecture notes unless otherwise indicated. The class is very interesting if you have any interest. The tests take a long time but offer a lot of extra credit.

This was my favorite class ever! It's definitely hard, so expect to study like crazy, but he's willing to help if you ask (don't be intimidated! He can seem scary). Work hard in lab and you'll learn a lot. Tests are challenging, but there is a lot of extra credit to balance the difficult stuff. Just work hard and you'll be fine.

This guy has no emotion WHAT SO EVER. He knows the stuff but cant teach it. All he does is read the work book. Im not making that up. Word for word... The only reason to attend class is for some extra cred questions on the exams. He does not care about any student who is not a 4.0 premed student. So brace for a hard class and no help from him.

Had him for 285 and 382. He's funny and smart, and has interesting stories/examples. The only issue is that he's kind of intimidating. He tapes his lectures and posts them online, so missing lecture isn't a big deal, and in fact, I listened to a lot of the lectures at home online and still got a B+ in 382 and A in 285. Great professor.

If you can, take medical term. before this class. Join a study group. Take Prof. Zellmer for Lab. Make note cards. Follow study tips on syllabus. Attend lecture, no matter what your friends say/do. Ask lots of questions. Also join a study group and study for 1 hour Mon. - Fri. and you'll never cram and will have a stress free class. :)

Sepsenwol at first seems like a mean guy but later on you begin to like the guy and his class. His class is hard but the stuff is so interesting I was happy with the grade I recieved (not that good a C+) because I learned so much the grade dosnt even show it.
