Sweet lady, but VERY opinionated. No textbook. Study the powerpoints almost verbatim and there's the test. GO TO CLASS! She uses conversations from class and visitors to make test questions. Don't try to argue with her. She will just (politely) shut you down and move on. I do recommend as a double dip course!

DR. Moore is the bomb! Take her intro to Sowo class! Easy A. No text book required. 3 tests, all multiple choice and a group paper on an interview with a social worker. Highly recommend Dr. Moore! Awesome lady!

Dr. Moore is the sweetest woman in the whole world. The class is so broad, sometimes the tests are a little tricky. It is not mandatory to attend class to understand the material. I went into the final with a 91% and left with a 94%. It's doable. I would reccomend this class.

You have to know everything on the PowerPoints and what was said in class to make an A in this class. She grades papers on tests hard and doesn't say why she took off. The class is boring except for the stories she tells.

Dr. Moore is great! She keeps me laughing. Attendance is not required but she does ask questions about some discussions that happen in class, so if you miss class, you may miss questions on the test. Overall her tests are easy and have essays on them. Most test questions come straight from the powerpoint and a few from discussion. No textbook.

Very easy class, made an A on +/- easily! Tests come straight off the powerpoints! Also lots of extra credit! Dr Moore is crazy and so much fun! Had class with half the football team cause they take her for summer school and they all just messed with her the whole time!

She is very funny! She tells it like it is. i would say she caters to the athletes, but the class is still not hard. I would say that the tests are tricky and her notes are kind of random. But I loved her lectures, they are very animated!

Grades very hard unless you are an athlete. Then she will love you. It is unfair because I went to class everyday and participated (most people skipped and those who came didn't pay attention) yet because I am not an athlete, she graded everything I did really hard.

Loves those footbal players. Although you never have to go to class, and her notes on online, the tests are still a little tricky. Gives a lot of extra credit but is so unorganized and losses stuff. Hard to get hold of but easy.

very nice lady, if you are a football player she will LOVE you. caters to athletes, doesn't take attendance, posts notes online so you don't have to go to the class or read the book. offers a lot of extra credit

She expects a lot from her students and doesn't accept anything less than your best. This class does make you think about your own biases and thoughts about others...lots of interesting discussion, but can get out-of-hand.
