Comment:

Linda is the most petty and disrespectful prof I have ever met. The way she replies to her emails is just horrendous. She has no problem lowering your grades, but if you feel that you deserve a higher grade because she made a mistake, she will basically threaten that she will actually lower it since she actually has to put effort into regrading.

I actually found her quite offensive. When I asked about her marking scheme, she completely avoided the question and basically said it is what it is. After i questioned her marking, she would look past me when i had my hand up to answer a question in class, which resulted in damaging my participation mark. She actually made me quite upset.

Professor Stockton is very good at conveying material. Where she lacks is interpersonal skills. My experience found her to be rather offensive and uncompromising. She was an extremely difficult marker when it came to the presentations. If you care about your grades and can take this course with an alternate professor, I would highly recommend it.

Great Prof, she worked her way up in the real word. She stresses a lot that the students are future managers who is bringing values to the workplace so we have to have a sense of responsibility and our business ethic will have to be on top. She does have very high expectations so be prepared to work hard. It was the most work I've done in a class.

I have never written a review on a prof, but I had to for this one. Had the opportunity to take it with another prof and I should have! She thinks 70 is a great mark so anyone that needs marks i.e. Accounting, good luck! Hopefully you understand your final grade, I know I didn't. 1st midterm opened 3rd week... fair warning.

Pours her heart and soul into her teaching. Is there to help when asked. Enjoyed the course. Lectures engaging. Tries to include everyone. Lots of work but worth it for what I learned. Lots of stories help you to remember the material. Knows her stuff well. Keeps it current and interesting. Tries to link with what's going on in the world.

Linda is an excellent professor. The only one I've had in my 4 years at Mac that makes 3 hours not totally unbearable. Most of her stories are funny and when you study, they actually help you remember things. Since participation is key, and the lecture size is small, make sure you put some time and effort into making a connection.

Actually a great prof. Yeah, some of the marking can be hard but it makes you work hard for a good mark. She is always willing to help any student out if you go by her office and ask her questions. She's tough, but for good reasoning.
