Ivy-league level of teaching at aodest college. Also, the most caring professor I've met. Her classes push one to think more analytically than any other classes I've had but are still fascinating. Not for the pea-brained, although she is very willing to help any student who is willing to learn.

Sometimes stuff went over head b/c the material was so tough. I like her b/c she broke down hard material and made it easier for the class to learn. She also goes out of her way to help you one on one if she sees you need help- very approachable.

Dr. Carstens is a great teacher! I had her for several classes. Despite being sick a lot, she enters every class with enthusiasm for the subject and doesn't skip classes. Great great!
