She is SUCH a great teacher. I'm so greatful I got to have her during her last semester at Grossmont. Funny, nice, pushes you to go that extra mile, and gives you useful information you will actually need for this business. Just knowing her is a pleasure.

Lisa is a phenomenal teacher, and I feel so lucky to have been able to work with her for three semesters. She is constantly willing to help her students in and out of the classroom. I have grown more as an actor in her class than any of my many years anywhere else. She is also a great resource to have in "the real world" of theatre.

i didn't really like her. she seemed to brag a lot about her conquests in theater and her husband's conquests in theater. Plus, I never felt like she was really interested in her student's progress. not very helpful. After her i don't really like theater anymore. It seems too much about the people you know.

A wonderful teacher. I noted that some people seem to think that when she makes faces during students preformances, shes showing her disproval. NOT TRUE! Lisa wants her students to suceed so badly, & she gets really into it when you perform, in fact she is acting along with you. I've always found her very encouraging & supportive of all students

Ok, there is no reason to even have Lisa on this website. OF COURSE SHE'S AMAZING! No questions asked. If you want to be in the business knowing her and learning from her is a GOOD thing. She and Ron are like the eyes and ears of SD THTR...THTR in general. Work hard and you'll get a lot back.

A really interesting teacher. At first, she appears as a guiding and helping hand to learn more into the world of theatre. Wrong. If you watch carefully at Mrs. Drummond while others are performing their work on stage, you'll see her frantically display her disagreement. Which, as you can guess, VERY DISTRACTING. Favoritism is practiced wildly.

lots of work but really fun. i hated theatre but now i know you don't have to be perfect to entertain children. there are many homework assignements but easy once you get the hang of it. she is very helpful and straight forward of what she expects of her students.

This is my 3rd time taking the class from Lisa, what does that say? I LOVE HER! And Ron Council who plays piano for the class is extremely front forward about your talent. If you aren't afraid to do hard work, and be told the honest truth about your talent, take this class.

Lisa is very helpful with & knowledgeable of many aspects of musical theatre. She is very talented at direction and knows what looks legitimate onstage. The only flaw I ever experienced w/ her teaching was her inability to eliminate bias against some of the more experienced actors in the class.
