Comment:

Dr. Gordon is particularily rude and inconsiderate. She teaches STAT 101 like a robot, not willing to slow down her rapid pace in order to help students understand the material. As the material became more difficult later in the semester, I along with other students became lost due to her awful teaching style. PLEAE DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Between either having either a quiz a test most weeks...it's mandatory that you study and prepare for this class. That being said, even though I did well on the hw and studied her tests and quizzes were just too ridic.

I bombed this course.I would study and try as hard as I could but everything that she said we should study would never be on the quizzes or tests.I was so confused and it's hard to pay attention. The class is boring and I never have any idea of what is going on.She doesn't always collect the homework but when she does of course I never did it.life.

I thought this class was really easy as long as you pay attention. She's a good teacher but moves really quickly. Gives homework often but doesn't always collect it. When she does, if you hand it in and she sees that you attempted it you get 3 points on the next test. If you have over a 93 after the 4th test, you dont take the final

She says one thing and does another with her quizzes. She'll put different stuff on quizzes than she mentions. She goes too quickly. It is hard, you need to put work into studying. She does give an index card for tests, but its still pretty hard.

Her class is very hard. She isn't the best professor. A index card for the tests do not help at all because she makes her tests impossible and her quizzes extremely hard. Theres so much information you need to know for them too. Do your homework (optional) because you'll be lost. She collects homework whenever she wants.

Highly recommend prof gordon that is why i am going out of my way to write this. if you go to class and pay attention you will do fine in the class. allows cheat sheets for each test and if u hav an A average dont have to take the final. got an A in the class

Professor Gordon was very smart and said on the first day of class she would always be there for her students and wanted the best for them. However, she taught through material extremely fast and was not at all helpful during office hours. Her tests were extremely difficult, even with an index card cheat sheet.

She's a great teacher but statistics isn't that easy. In order to understand the work you must attend most of the classes, but on tests a cheat sheet is allowed. Highly recommend Professor Gordon

If you need this class, take it, but be prepared for the content and the work load to get more difficult. She's not very receptive to people who ask for help and she goes really quickly. Her last few tests and assignments are much more difficult, so STUDY and do your work. This is difficult with Gordon if you're not already mathematically inclined.

She is the worst professor I have ever had. She doesn't care about her students. Yes, shes smart, but shes too smart and isn't clear. No extra credit. Gives off a terrible attitude. It's like she's not there for the students. Her notes/hw do not help you on exams. The hw grades are ridiculous, I did the hw, and still did not get the credit for it..

Awesome professor. She is extremely fair, and clear. There are only a few homework assignments and she warns you about a week before she hands it out so you can be sure to be in class that day. You get to use a cheat sheet on every test. Get an A and you dont take the final. Take this class with her!!

Dr. Gordon is amazing. She presents the information in class perfectly, there is no reason to not understand it. She is so nice, my second exam I thought I got an 80, but got a 101 with extra credit+bc she let a lot slide. She passed the tests to become an actuary, she is THAT smart. You would be crazy not to take Stats 101 with her

I'm taking stats with gordon for the second time (not her fault, mine) and it was my choice to take it with her again. She really is understanding, helpful and smart. allows cheat sheets on tests, our final was open notebook, she adds up the 3 grades and if its more than your lowest test grade she'll replace it. definately take stats with her.
