I love Dr. Holderman--I have no idea why a few people are complaining! She's very smart, VERY helpful, easy to talk to, a fair grader... she made my experience in a public speaking class very enjoyable, which is saying something!

Dr. Holderman is absolutely brilliant. She's both a wonderful person and professor. The reason I notated a "5" on Easiness should not be taken to mean that her classes are not challenging. It means that she makes those challenges easy to conquer and even fun. Fantastic!

Dr. Holderman is a really good teacher. Her test questions are straight from her power points, so its really easy if you study them. As long as you pay attention in class and put what she tells you into your speeches you will do great.

Very helpful at times, yet I feel she needs to schedule more class time and less individual conferences, because they dont help me whatsoever. She is always fair and pretty much lenient. Just dont get on her bad side lol.

What an idiot! She knows nothing. All she does is smile. She has a career simply because she is smiling all the time. Knowledge of the field is ZERO. No wonder academic world has such a bad reputation. Thank goodness the rest of the department is not like that.

You will have to make 3 or 4 speeches in the class, but Prof. Holderman grades easily for them. Just integrate the lessons from her lectures into your speeches. The quizzes are easy (just study from her power point presentations). She is very nice too and a good advisor.

Dr. Holderman's a great teacher and was a great advisor (I wish she was still mine, but they changed everything in the Communications department). I got an A in her class. She definitely knows her stuff in advising, Communications, and Pluralism.

She stinks!!! From day one she says that an A is perfect and that nobody's perfect. It is unclear what will be on her tests and quizzes. she has tests and quizzes in a public speaking class!
