Dr. Scribner is such a nice woman. She is difficult because she teaches at the Graduate level. What else would you expect? Quick replies to emails, in office hours, will talk to you after class. She loves what she does. If you can't handle her work, good luck with the real world.

Her lectures are confusing and pointless even though attendance is mandatory. You get 3 absences and your grade will drop dramatically. You must read the book and understand the material or you'll fail the tests. I studied for hours and still got C's.. Avoid! She also is withholding the final review unless she gets 60% of evaluations.. Avoid her.

Mandatory classes but lectures are useless. She's gonna speak about her life for 1 hour and shows you some words on the powerpoint for nothing : the tests are based on definitions of the book, that's it. Moreover, add a group work and a final presentation. Skip this class for you health

Class material is interesting but she gets very off topic during class. You have to teach yourself the material because the discussions in class go off topic or don't need much explanation. Studied for hours and still get C's on the tests. She admits that her tests have trick questions on them. My grades don't reflect how well i know the material

She is a nice teacher. In class is easy, just participate in convo. Tests are very tough, you definitely need to study long and hard. There is a group paper and presentation. She does offer some extra credit opportunities. Doesn't respond to emails if you have questions.

Dr. Scribner clearly knows marketing very well, but her ability to convey that information to students is rather lacking. She seems very scatterbrained and not really engaged in the material. Lectures are incredibly monotonous and dull. The group project required more work than any other assignment I've had in any class I've ever taken.

Group project is a lot of work; real company. Gives country quizzes to help your grade. Keeps you in class till the last minute. Talks a lot. Thinks she's funny. Class isn't too hard just a lot of info and very repetitive.

Love her!! She is one of my favorite teachers. She makes going to class at 8 am interesting. Easy class if you pay attention. Puts all of her power points online. Only used the book to look up additional notes before exams. Tests are not that hard if you study a little.

What a terrible subject and an equally terrible lecturer. Honestly my least favorite class at UNCW. Convoluted syllabus and an unreasonable workload, considering the mundane nature of the subject. Learning about trade restrictions isn't my idea of fun. The whole subject reeks of boring and I struggle to see how she can be so enthusiastic about it.

My advisor who is department laughed at me when he found i was in her class, and after my final today i see why. I stayed up countless hours studying her study guides , just for the test to be COMPLETELY different from what she emphasizes on the guide. awful

made me switch my major really quickly. She is horrible. I just finished her class today and I have never been so happy to be done with a semester. You have to teach yourself EVERYTHING, because she doesn't teach you at all. And her study guides are completely useless and don't even match her tests. God forbid anyone take this class

i took her hybrid class.... bad decision. she is very unclear with what is going on in the class and expects the class to check the syllabus constantly. she was not helpful at all whenever you asked her questions. most of the time she had a very rude response and will just tell you to look at the syllabus. she is annoying, try to avoid her.

This class was WAY TOO much work. Had to do cases, quizzes, tests AND wrote 100+ paper with a group for a company that absolutely hated our presentation. Spent over 5 hrs every week on this class. Def not worth it. She is not consistant on graded, expects way too much, and contradicts herself more than she knows.

Meh. She made our class a hybrid so we watch her online videos on Tues and attend class Thurs, which is fine. But she's irritatingly annoying. Very passionate about marketing and has a term for everything. Her thoughts seem unorganized and her rubrics (when she provides them) are vague and she expects you to know what she wants you to include.

Great professor! The class was challenging but if you go to class you will do ok. I didn't even buy the book and expect a B in the class. Test are hard but she randomly gives out extra credit throughout the semester. If you don't miss any days then you get 3 more extra credit points. I really definitely recommend Dr. Scribner!
