Professor Singh is a very underrated professor at Brockport. He truly wants his students to learn the material and thats the reasoning for weekly quizzes and essay type exams. He is more than willing to give extra help when needed. He also has a great sense of humor which is hard to find in that specific major. Do not, I repeat DO NOT skip class

He is one of the best professors I've ever had. He's pretty funny and the time flew by in class. Be prepared for LOTS of group work though, almost every assignment is with a partner. The homework assignments are straight forward but lengthy. Definitely take a class with him if you can.

The best professor Ive had at Brockport, he genuinely wants his students to succeed and wont hesitate to go out of his way to convenience you. Class time flies by.

Prof. Singh taught the hardest class I have ever taken at brockport. I expect to get a B- in the class and for the amount of work I had to do just for that makes me sick. Be prepared for a lot of work for a less than worthy grade.

Professor Singh is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. His class involves a lot of work and tough tests but I have learned so much about Investing and Finance in general from him. He gives quizzes on every chapter and every outside reading assignment which are difficult to pass if you don't read.

Quizzes on chapters are given BEFORE he lectures the chapter, you essentially need to learn the chapter before he teaches it. Very hard test grader. If you're not 100% on the dot he takes away major points. He is a nice guy and pretty funny but be prepared for hard tests and getting quizzed on chapters you havnt gone over yet.

He is a great guy and I loved having a class with him, but the class was tough, no mandatory homework, but reading is a must there is a quiz on every chapter you read. The tests are pretty tough. That being said I would not take this class once a week, have it at least twice a week.

I was not impressed with this professor - I really don't know how he has such a high rating. Every class is a quiz/test - given as soon as every class starts - even before he goes over the chapter. And, they're tough! If you don't like quiz-happy professors (which I don't), avoid him.

Funny guy, organized, great notes, always available to help, but I don't like how he deducts a significant amount of points from test responses even if they answer the question but aren't as precise as he would hope them to be. Gives many resources on bb to help study although again his exams seem more like ela tests than finance. I like the class

He is tough. I am a straight A student and I really must say he is a TOUGH grader. That being said, he provides a lot of extra help study sessions on the weekends. He gives A LOT of work: frequent assignments, quizzes, projects, readings, etc. If you put in a lot of effort you'll do fine just know it is a challenge.

Excellent teacher! He is very knowledgeable, but yes, his classes are hard. You have to do the reading (oh no!) before you get to class. You also have to study everything he tells you to for the tests. You end up with an immense understanding of the material, but you have to study a lot.

nice guy but the hardest class of my life. spent a week studying my ass off and I only get a 48 on one of his tests. Study hard and don't take it lightly when he says so. make sure you read every chapter. quizzes given before lectures on them. GOOD LUCK is all i can say

Great teacher. Really knowledgable. If you need to take a class and he is a professor for it - take it with him. Seems to really care for his students. Remembers most if not all current and past student's first names. Class is hard, but his help during office hours is exceptional. You really get a good understanding of class information.

Dr. Singh is an excellent teacher. Be prepared to work hard, but also be prepared to really learn a lot of information. There is a reason why Dr. Singh is one of Brockport's highest paid faculty members.
