Professor Williams was a great Readings in Poetry Professor. The forums almost every night can get a little annoying, but can only help your overall grade. Participate during class, actually attend class, and you'll do fine. Kind of a hard grader, but you can revise papers. She's a sweet woman, so stay on her good side, and stay awake in class.

She expects you to participate and will call on you if you haven't talked for awhile. She is really sweet and just a little awkward but really nice. She's a clear grader and wants to make sure you understand her notes. She is so accessible and is great to meet with and discuss your paper.

She is very passionate about what she teaches and she will expect you to return that passion or at least engage with the material. She is kind of socially awkward but a very nice woman and will go out of her way to help you learn the material and succeed in her class, as long as you show her you care. Study for her tests or you will NOT pass.

Gives a ridiculous amount of homework almost every night. Make sure to attend every class and look like you care and you will pass. Be nice and kiss some because it helps. Attendance is mandatory. I would stay away she is a horrible grader.

This is my third class I've taken with her, and she really does want every student's writing to get better. In my first class, I was getting B's and B-'s on every paper, and now she's giving me A's. She provided me with an opportunity to present my essay at a conference and get it published! She's the sweetest lady, and really would recommend her!

She is so awkward, and praises people who get good grades, but also point out the stuff they did wrong. She holds this one person who's in the Center for Reading and Writing to such a high standard and she doesn't even write well. If your essay is written really well, but your argument is crappy, she'll still give you an A.

This is the worst professor I have taken in my entire life. Stay away at all costs. She tries to help, but she makes it worse. Whenever she grades my essays, she half reads them and then just gives me an F. Do not take this woman. I warn you now. It will be the worst 3 months of english in your entire life. Lisa Williams may be the most boring professor on campus. I am utterly disappointed in her and this class. If I could use one word to describe her class, it would be her favorite word (she spent almost 45 minutes talking about it on and off) - SUBLUNARY. Look it up, it's not a common word, there's a reason it's dead. Overall, Lisa Williams is BLEH!
