This guy is teaching am intro course like a graduate one. His test are hard to the point of being impossible. He will have a question about a point that he put on the board the first day and never went back to. That question will be the basis for the following three questions. Get one wrong. Get them all wrong. Don't take him and get a better professor. No reason to make intro English harder than need be.

Very poor teacher does literally nothing to help you and grades papers very harshly. He calls on anyone that makes eye contact with him and then will embarrass you when you dont know the answer. Got more out of spark notes than actually reading the confusing books, dont take him.

had him for World Lit. Not as bad as everyone is saying. Kind of boring, texts were strange, but not a lot of work necessary. Didn't always do reading by dates assigned but finshed by test time and aced them. Took american lit at same time and felt my world lit class was a breeze in comparison.

the worst teacher i have ever had, he doesnt explain anything he teaches, humiliates you infront of class, calls on you when you dont even raise your hand and i have no idea what is going on. doesnt help you with anything. just an awful teacher he SUCKS!!!!!!!!! he should be fired and never let back into the education field everrrrr again!!!!!!!!!!

dear god this man is a poor teacher. if you can avoid him, i strongly suggest avoiding him. he gives ambiguous assignments and then grades extremely hard. Further, he has not the slightest hesitation at giving extremely low grades. It was not uncommon for him to actually hand back student essays with grades of 3 or 4 out of 10.

Very difficult professor and disgrace to the teaching community. He is not helpful at all. His quizzes ask about the tone of the book, not actual events that took place. Plays favorites big time. Uses straight lecture. Grading policy is impossible to understand. He def brings the school down, terrible teacher. Waste of money.

I read going in that he was difficult but I figured it would not be too bad...I was wrong..He is not helpful at all...his grading is hard to follow and unfair..if you try to voice an opinion different than his then you are always wrong..bought books that we didnt even use..dont take this class...

It was an easy class, but you have to do some really pointless assignments that are basically busy work. You don't have to do a lot of reading or writing, but you need to keep a pointless journal and write in it twice a week. Not a bad professor though, I liked it.
