One of the most boring professor's I've ever had. He has almost no energy and drains me of mine. Extremely monotonous. There has never been a day where I feel like falling asleep at my desk.

Terrible class. Boring. Tests are tough and customized by him to make sure you completely read the novel he shoves down your throat in the first 2 and a half weeks. Avoid at all costs. Also, although you will gain nothing from his terrible monotone lectures, you will be forced to go to class because of shady pop quizzes.

I usually don't write reviews but this guy is absoutely terrible. The ONLY reason to go to class is to take his pop quizes, otherwise just stay home and learn the material yourself. He spent the first day of class primarily defending himself and his poor reviews which says something about him. Doesn't really explain lectures either... AVOIDI

Professor Boyd is a nice guy, but he is absolutely terrible at teaching this course. He's incredibly boring and during lectures he just reads slides rather than explaining them to you. The tests are easy if you study the day before, but you have to teach everything to yourself. I wouldn't even go to class if it weren't for the random quizzes.

I found him quite easy. He is willing to help you out if you need it in his office hours and focuses a lot on critical thinking. He reorganized some of his class and the online homework is helpful and easy.

For a management professor... he is sadly very disorganized. His tegrity posts don't work half the time. Completely changed the layout of exams but refuses to post updated syllabus. random online homework. He expects a lot out of us but doesn't put the same effort into the course. He's a tough professor. This is just a management course! Who has time to sit & spend 24/7 studying for this class? He has a MAJOR attitude which is discouraging. I'll be happy to finish this course. For a MGMT prof. he is really disorganized in teaching! He's a pain in the rear - so avoid this guy. Lots of hw - never takes late work

I taught myself ALL the material and literally couldn't find a way to listen to his boring lecture and actually learn something. AVOID AT ALL COST. He doesn't teach. You teach yourself. Luckily the material itself is that difficult but with that being said... I would avoid his class at al cost. Go Cards.

You need to make sure that you note the definitions he gives for all the term because he is going to ask them again and again. I took him during the summers and he placed a lot of focus on the critical thinking skills.

I thought Prof. Boyd was great! He teaches you exactly what you need to know in order to do well on the exams, and he is great about answering questions and making sure that you understand the answer. He cracks little jokes all the time, and for a 3 hour class I was never as bored as I expected to be. I'd definitely recommend him for statistics.
