Prof Collins is sweet and a good teacher. She's extremely clear on what you are supposed to do for your papers and quizzes and is a bit overly thourough on her lectures sometimes wasting a little time. She means well though.

Lynne is an amazing teacher! Her class is very fun. We use the book all the time. Be sure to buy the book because we do write in it. I loved Lynne because she went to great lengths to make sure her students understood what she was teaching:) take her class!!

Lynne was a great professor. Her classes are long same with her lectures, but she really tries to make sure you understand what you are learning. She also try to make sure she gets to know you and the class. Easy class, but its a lot of fun :) i suggest that you take her class!! :)

This class was rough, Lynne is nice but she grade hard and I didn't care for her teaching style. She jumps around and was hard for to follow what she wanted on assignments.Terrible communication! She "communicates" with you through the grades section of the website, because apparently we all check that part of the website everyday!

I took English 301 online with Professor Collins. She is very clear about what she expects. She gives a weekly calendar of the assignments that are due each week. The syllabus is crystal clear. She is a fair grader, if you do not write enough or you don't try on the assignments you will not get credit. That's fair right?!

hallelujah the semester is just about over! One of the most unhelpful professors I have ever encountered, I can'r believe there is a group project for an online class, worst assignment ever. She was constantly changing the assignment due dates because she would 'forget' about holidays or spring break. This was the most frustrating class ...

The work load in this class isn't bad. 4 big essays all 1500 words. 6 short essays at 500 words based on the reading, and discussions every week. There is a little bit of extra credit and you get to turn in 1 big paper late. Since the essays aren't that long she is pretty strict on grading. Glad i didn't get the book, only use it for small essays

This is not an easy A class. She seems nice enough and you get your papers back pretty quick. It is annoying that you have to go all over the website to find certain instructions. The text book is a waste of money all you have to do is look up any of the stories assigned. I have used my book once. If you can take Dr. Logan, he is the best!

If you can help it don't take this professor. She does not give clear instructions and I have never seen a D2L class site as convoluted as hers is. She is certainly not the most computer literate professor I have ever seen, which makes taking her online class extremely challenging. She uses incorrect portals to communicate with her students.

I took Mrs.Collins Online 302 class and it was not the best. She does give lots of feedback on your papers, but is very strict on her grading. There are also lots of papers to write so be prepared. If you're not a good writer already, try to take another instructor who's a bit easier. U usually get A's and B's in English, but this class was tough

Online class was actually pretty easy despite the fact that you had to keep up with the work every week. I HATE writing essays but teach is clear in instruct and critique of what she wants, so follow the guideline. She gives out enough e.c to counter missed points. I got help from her on last assignment and it improved my paper one letter grade.

Professor Collins is excellent! She gives tough critiques, which are based on her high standards, but is very fair in grading. You must be prepared to put in a lot of time and effort-but will completely benefit from doing so. I learned so much from her! Highly recommended for anyone who is entering the business, legal, or journalism professions.
