she is then worst professor ever, I really love the subject math but with her its another world. she just talk , she doesn't explain or give any examples. she think we are in the same level as she is . she needs to understand we are learning the subject not jut taking the class for credits.

I just finished her class for summer, Contemporary Math, and she was great! She was extremely helpful and would always explain any questions I had about the homework if I just emailed her to ask. To be honest, I was really nervous to take her class when I read all of the reviews, but I am glad I did. I got an A in the class and really enjoyed it

Terrible, I'm taking her summer class for Contemporary math and I'm dropping it. The lectures are incredibly in-helpful and her homework is really hard. She makes you write summaries of what you learned, 500 words, but how can we write when learning is impossible? DO NOT TAKE. Supposed to be a non-major math class, no way, this class is impossible.

HORRIBLE HUMAN BEING!! She was extremely sarcastic and demanded that we only ask our peers for help with math questions before asking her. By making sure of this she wanted the questions posted online for everyone to view. I dropped the class. I still need to take it so I looked up who to contact from the math dept. SURPRISE. shes the chairperson!

This professor is horrific. I understand it is an online class, but she had no remorse for students who are naturally bad at math. I emailed her and her response was that I wasn't cut out to take any online classes. I've taken many online classes &got A's in all! She expects too much & she doesn't help. Take math in class, not worth the heartache!

Yea so I just realized I never took the time to warn you people in the interwebs not to take her class online. Se has got to be the most woefully uninvolved professor I have ever had. Far too hard for this level math, and if you need help, you have got a better chance of Santa Claus responding to your email than her. AWFUL!

Took her class online last semester. she does not communicate with class barely communicated with me when i emailed. makes us do a 5 page single spaced paper. then states that we have to take a final in person and we were supposed to memorize the everything we did all semester for it.

DO NOT TAKE HER woman is absolutely ridiculous. Offers no help to student remarks are extremely snooty and sarcastic. Expects way to much from students for this level math. She does not belong teaching this subject. Exams are tough and project is inexplicable. No need for such work being at this math level. Things are turned in through turn it in.

The tests were ridiculous; way more difficult than a 100 level math course should conceivably be - not to mention the two 5-page single spaced papers she assigned, one of which was on "math and your major" and she required so many sources as to alienate students with less mathematical majors - and she refused to help or allow alternative topics.

honestly, do NOT, i repeat, do NOT take her for ANYTHING. If for some unexplainable reason you have no choice but to take her class, still put it off and figure it out later even if it requires postponing graduation. It just was not worth the frustration or aggravation. she wants to be there less than we do. ENOUGH SAID!

a big mistake was taking an online math course on material i haven't touched since 7th grade. but a bigger mistake was taking it with her. she never once responded to a single question that i asked. if you have to take this class online and with her....make sure you're good at math or have a friend who is good at math to help you!

I'm a terrible (really terrible) math student but I took this class online in the summer and got a B. I didn't personally have any problems with Prof. Rosar, but I didn't really need to contact her. Class wasn't too hard or too easy. If you're not good in math, take this in the summer or something so you don't have any other classes to worry about.

Took her class online, pretty easy but if you're bad at math, like I am, you better get someone to help you. If you have a question & try to ask her in one of her "online discussions", good luck, she only "chats" with certain people & forget emailing her because she'll never get back to you.

She is much more open to comments and questions than prof. Leveine and others I've encountered. She is willing to spend some time after class with final comments. She is also more forgiving with project exams, as long as you have the the process done the right way. She will shrug off math errors.
