take good notes and at least skim the chapters. pay attention to graphs and understanding them. when given an article in class, read it carefully and study it for the exams. be sure to have a calculator for each exam. participate, even if youre wrong, she'll be more lenient with your overall grading.

Overall a nice lady, but she is completly inflexible with her methods. Only 3 tests make your total grade and they are definition, short answer, and problems tests, no multiple choice. Overall I wouldn't recommend her. Take anyone else!

Worst prof ever, shes out to fail her students. All she does is lecture, or should I say drone with her powerpoints. Your grade is only 3 tests, which are H-A-R-D, and her attendence policy blows, after 2 skips she'll **** your grade up bad, forced me to drop the class - STEER CLEAR!!!

Take the other prof. She'll put you to sleep with her powerpoint lectures, her reviews don't help at all, and her tests are HARD - no multiple choice. And watch out, she calls on random people in class so you gotta pay attention.

Prof. Clarke is a very good professor. She means business. Show up to her class every day and take good notes off of her powerpoints, read your book, and you will do EXCELLENT. People say she is a tough prof, I beg to differ. Do you work and earn your grade, and you'll love her class.

Very hard class. Tons of notes, four to five pages wroth every class. Grading is just on the three tests she gives. Yet she is very nice and willing to help anyone.

Dr. Clarke is not a very good teacher. She now uses powerpoint for her notes to the class but she still writes them. She never goes in depth about anything. Her tests are way too hard and thats all that is counted. Bad way to teach, grading system, etc.

It was a very hard class. No homework, no quizzes...just lectures and tests. That doesn't help us too much. How can we stay awake if we have to sit through an hour or more of just lecturing??? Not a good teaching style.

Notes are very fast and hard to understand because of her handwriting. Tests are straightfoward if you can memorize. Attendance policy sucks, after 2 skips, she decreases your grade by a letter grade.

Dr. Clarke, seems like she knows the materials. But her tests are incredibly hard. And throw out the entire semester there are only two exams plus the final, so if you fail those two exams consider your self failing the entire course.
