Helps out if you ask. I never had any major issues with this instructor. The test is probably the worst part. Long and tons of work. And can be very difficult as it asks for specifics. Overall not to bad, but be ready to work really hard for a 2 credit class.

Her tests are difficult because she has poor writing, teaching, and production skills. For example a question will ask what an icon does but it's obvious she photocopied it from the book, then photocopied it again, and it's illegible. How hard is it to hit print screen? She will also give a 15 minute answer instead of saying just click that.

class material isnt too hard, her examinations are these "QUESTS" which are like 9 thousand pages long and have questions on them that have nothing to do with the course. she expects you to memorize all the pages in the text book including detailed diagrams. basically useless prof

This professor knows her stuff, and walks the class through step by step processes. Pay attention and read the book, do your assignments and you will be fine. WARNING: Monotone voice! Other than that, she is cool, helps her students, and the assignments aren't too bad: I never had a problem turning them in. 95% on one of the exams.

No matter how much time you invest in a project (and it'll be way more time than the class's designation suggests) she will counterproductively nitpick your work to the point where you learn to hate a subject you once loved. And you'll learn nothing in the process. Worst instructor at Penn State Berks I've had so far.

Good professor overall. Will help students that struggle, though some of her assignments can be brain twisters that will make you think. She will help out, though. Tests were somewhat ridiculous.

She does not know what she is doing; cannot teach or explain things. Her hw and assignments and projest makes the class worth more credits then what it is. Her exams are long and "hard" even though she did not teach anything. DO NOT TAKE HER.
