She is really sweet and means well. But she is very confusing sometimes and doesn't always answer questions the best. She is always willing to help and as long as you use her recommendations, you will do just fine. She grades pretty easy and as long as you participate and go to her late night office hours, she will give you a fair grade.

Dr. Keaton is a wonderful professor. She is so kind and always willing to help. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She tells funny stories sometimes that really have no point. She also teaches good life lessons. As long as you write your papers like she tells you to, you should get an A or AT LEAST a B.

I would suggest not taking this teacher. She is very unorganized and almost never hands out the unit syllabus on time or gets graded papers back to you when she says she will, which is incredibly frustrating. She expects you to be in class but it is not beneficial because she always gets off topic. She comes off as an expert about EVERYTHING!

When I first met her I was a little concerned that I wouldn't like her as a teacher, but she ended up being one of my favorites. If you actually ask her for help or to clarify things she's extremely helpful and also understanding. She's a great teacher.

Dr. Keaton is very nice and her lectures usually go fast. As long as you write your paper exactly how she tells you to, then you will do fine. She seems overwhelming at first, but don't switch classes. There's basically no homework, just come to lecture, take notes, and complete your journal entries. She does let your revise one paper at the end.

Extremely nice lady and not much homework. You are supposed to write in a journal every day, but at the end she really doesn't grade it hard as long as you did most of them. The class is extremely boring, but she is a solid teacher despite her odd ways every once in a while. Can get off topic sometimes. Easy A if you are a good writer.

I love Dr.Keaton. Even though she does have a tendency to go off topic, she is really nice. You dont have to do anything in that class except papers. So if u want no homework i recommend this class

Listening to her for the entire class is very, very difficult, and coming to class is pointless and a waste of time, and will not benefit you . She is not open to other views besides her own, and can be unfair. She is also not afraid to point out your flaws to the entire class.

Dr. K is a very nice lady. She really loves what she teaches and gets excited about teaching English. Sometimes can be a bit unorganized but she will always take the blame. She does expect alot from you but will help you do the best you can everytime. As far as her speech problem it is not even an issue. After the first class I stopped noticing it.

Dr. K is truly a great person. She is always there to help when you need it just ask for a meeting with her and she will help you. Just talk to her and she will love you. I thought this class was fairly easy and even though she does have a speech problem she is truly an awesome teacher!!!

Comment:

She is very unclear when explaining concepts and assignments. When students ask questions her answers have nothing to do with the question asked a lot of the time. She does have a speech impediement which obviously isn't her fault but it does hurt her ability to explain and clarify and talk in general. I would recommend avoiding this class.
