This is the worst chemistry professor (if not the worst professor) at Canisius. He is absolutely no help if you go to him outside of class, and his tests contain material not from class.

At first Dr. Kozik can be difficult to understand but after a while you get used to it. He is almost always available to go to for help outside of class. One of the nicest professors I've had at Canisius thus far. Quizzes are much more difficult than the tests, however, it forces you to really comprehend the material.

Best teacher in the chem department hands down. Very smart guy; very good teacher. It's a tough subject but if you go to class and put in the work you will do well. Kozik really cares about what he does and wants you to succeed-- as long as you try. Sometimes hard to understand but he's very nice and will repeat. My favorite professor

He is a very good professor, very knowledgeable in his field. He says funny things most of the time. Inorganic Chem with him was a nightmare though. The subject itself is extremely dry and boring. Tough to study for his CHM 244 quizzes as the textbook does not show you ANYTHING. However, exam Qs are identical to group work so study those.

He foams at the mouth and also mispronounces every other word. His hand writing is atrocious and offers little help outside of class. Though he does give "Relief Days" after tests (Which, by the way, have nothing to do with what we learn). Overall, if there is another Chemistry teacher offered I would choose that over him.

Great teacher. Chemistry is a difficult course to teach, but he does a descent job at teaching it. Out of the many teachers at Canisius, he is one to be with. He does team learning and it is very helpful. Extensive book use!!! Read that book whenever you can!

Kozik is an awesome general chemistry teacher. He is deeply interested in the educational aspect of being a proffessor so is very devoted to making sure those students who want extra help get it. His team learning style of teaching the class is far superior to the lecture style. At times, hard to understand his accent but he doesnt mind repeating.

He's awesome! First of all, he answers your question without going into all the detail and reason until you understand the basics first. He writes the tests for Chm 111 and 112 so you'll be most prepared for the tests. Team learning works VERY well with him - make sure you do your learning guides, they are exactly what you need to know. Love him!

This class is tough to begin with, but Dr. Kozik makes it easier to understand. He is a great lector! Wish he had a lecture section also. Always willing to help during office hours.

Dr. Kozik is the coolest teacher ever!! After knowing him for four year, taking three of his classes, doing research and TAing for him, he's definitely the person I missed most after graduating. But then again I was his favorite student :) Stupid 300 character limit :( I could go on all day.

He's not a bad guy, but the accent is sometimes difficult to understand, esp. in recitation.Final for CHM112 is simple, I had a C going into it, and finished with an A-.Tons of partial credit on exams-parial credit for multiple choice.Team learn is better than lecture for your first year at Canisius
