Good guy, very clear but can also be very boring. Lectures come pretty much straight out of the book, but he does give some pretty good examples. His tests can also be pretty challenging.

Of all the Calc teachers I had, he was the only one who had the philosophy that half the students shouldn't flunk the class. His tests were reasonable, and he was extremely clear. That's something no other math teacher at tech could accomplish.

Not a bad guy or a bad teacher. He mostly reiterates stuff out of the book, and his lecturing methods can put you into a coma. Like I said, not a bad teacher, but a dull one-- I found myself staring at the door until class was over.

OK, so I fell asleep a dozen times in his class, and ended up just reading from the book instead of coming to class... that doesn't make him a bad teacher. He was very methodical and clear; you just have to have a long attention span.

Probably the worst instructor to take calc III from. He's hard to follow, taking notes is like copying the text word for word. As he said during student evaluations: This isn't my day job and it doesn't really matter what you write on the evaluations.

He is a personable guy, but the class is dull. He just kind of blabbers on and reiterates stuff straight out of the book. It's hard to pay attention. Don't take him if you have a short attention span.
