Comment:

GIS is definitely a computer intensive class, but Dr. Jackson really wants to help you succeed. Take home tests were awesome. Think about how much his dad (Richard Jackson) knows about computers, Mark Jackson is the exact opposite. Good class, but TA was terrible.

He's a great professor, always willing to help. His classes are interesting and he likes to get off on different subjects. He is by far my favorite professor in the Geography department.

Mark is very helpful, and explains the concepts well. Take every class you can from him, and you will be happy. He is not a boring teacher, and sometimes goes on some fun tangents. His classes are make you put into practice you have learned.
