He starts the semester by making you think his class is tough-not at all. If your major is CJ you should do great, all assignments are papers (4) based on your opinion. As long as you read the sections based of a question he asks per ch. you will have enough to voice your opinion, requires 1-2 pgs per question most you write is 6pgs & only 2 test.

Dr. Keller spent 30+ years in the Harris County Sherriff's Dept. This guy knows what he is talking about. The class is all lecture (no HW no papers) and then multiple choice exams based off lecture. You never use the txtbook. He covers the exams the class before the exam day. Awesome Teacher!

This class was AWESOME for me, especially with the classmates I had because no one was shy to speak. Class was very easy, you have to show up because his tests come from his lectures. The man knows what he is talking about and you will find the class to be helpful. I wasted money on the book because test came from his lectures. Would TAKE AGAIN!!

Although this class is not required for CJ majors, you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you don't take this class. This class has real world application, and the information is extremely useful. Even if you don't end up working in CJ, the info is still useful to know. Good professor, very involved.

What can I say about the good-ole-Dr. Kellar? He is one of a kind. Dr. Kellar cares about his students. If you take a step back and focus on the entire semester as a whole, lots of students could have failed. But they didn't because Dr. Kellar afforded them an opportunity to redeem themselves. You will appreciate his finer point with respect.

He is a really nice man. He is very knowledgeable and his stories help you recall the information. I really enjoyed being in his class. I learned a lot of information. You just have to pay attention and read over your notes prior to the exams to get an "A"
