Class consists of writing definitions almost the entire time. Lab is essentially the same as class and you will have a quiz every lab. There is only 3 tests do they are weighted heavily. You do no experiments or dissections in lab, only looking at old slides under a microscope and on his projector.

Advisors and student who have had him know he is awful. 1st test was easy, second test was hard, and final was impossible. I'm an A student and ended with a c+, don't expect to get anything higher. No bonus or other grades, attendance doesn't count, going to lab and class is useless. Study physiology and small details from book

He only has 3 grades all semester, three 100 tests that are extremely tough. He tests on 3-6 chapters at once. His lectures are all over the place, and the tests are VERY in depth on subjects that he doesn't even lecture on. Be ready to red the book, and study!!! He is not very straight forward when you ask him questions. Good luck.

Worst professor I have had so far. Class and lectures are painfully long and dry. He gives 3 tests, and doesn't even explain what to study for them. Expects students to memorize way too much. You absolutely need the textbook, and have to read the textbook a lot in order to pass. Class average is usually around the 70's but there is usually a curve.

Dr. Kosco is very smart and is pretty helpful. He rambles a lot in class and so it's hard to focus sometimes, but I would definitely recommend trying to pay attention. If you miss class, it's probably at your detriment. Pay attention to what he tells you to read and the diagrams that he shows you; they're important. Read the book.

Dr. Kosco was my freshman first-semester-of-college nightmare. He handwrites all of his notes & only gives 3 exams for the whole semester. No study guide of any type. No extra credit offered. Tests are very challenging. He focuses on mechanisms of the body rather than simple memorization. The 3 exams are your only grades in the class. AWFUL.

Do not take this class if you can't study on your own. Don't bother taking notes during lecture, none of it is on the test. Pay as much attention as you can in lab! You get three tests, and figuring out what is on them is a guessing game. Your book is your best friend.

Dr. Kosco is very intelligent, however he can not teach very well. You have to pay attention in lab and class which is difficult considering classes are 2 hours and labs 2 and a half. READ THE BOOK. Take very detailed notes. Ask for help if you need it. You have 3 exams and that's it, so not much room for mistakes. Study Study Study & not last min.

I love Dr. Kosco. he's an extremely smart man and knows his stuff! I wish he taught AP2 I would take him in a heartbeat. I don't understand all the negative comments yes class is tough but if you study you can do well....I think he's a wonderful professor...always makes me laugh! Has extra credit now (very helpful)..2 tests and quiz every week

I'm going to be honest...the people who are completely bashing him just don't want to work hard...you WILL have to put forth effort and study hard (and actually understand) for the class...its a lot of information...but he's really smart and really good at explaining things if you listen to him...tests are mostly from the notes...keep up!

Used the class to make personal note from chapter. I never took notes. although he was very approachable and nice, he isnt a good teacher, he is smart, but only uses 3 tests as a grade, which forces you to go crazy right before a test. curves every exam i took about 18 points higher and the average grade was still a low 60. Learn how to study!!

Very very very very hard class. Take good notes, don't just write what he writes on the board, thats useless. Read the chapters. He gives you no clue what to study for any of the quizzes, midterm, and final. I will never take him again. EVER. His class caused me the worse stress of my life.

Very hard teacher, likes talking about pigs, I found it interesting while others just think he's weird. Really prepped me for medical school, however I think this class is far beyond what nursing students can handle.

Kosco makes everything more confusing-quizes each week are 1/3your grade and then the midterm and final are the other 2/3. leave instead of doing lab and go read...the only way to learn anything. expecttodo nobetter than a c :/
