I love Dr. Malley, he has a great sense of humor and is easy going. This non-major art class virtually got me through this semester, it allowed me and the other students to get away from our daily routine and use our imaginations rather than taking notes like robots.

Dr. Malleyis a GREAT professor, he has a very dry sense of humor. He is all about tough love.. you show you are serious about art education and you are busting your butt, he will give you all the respect in the world. Dr. Malley also stood up for me when my clinical teacher tried to throw me under the bus, and say bad things about my character.

Personally i didn't like his teaching style at all... very rude and doesn't explain things very well... there were only five people in my class and he thought that he could yell at us when ever he wanted... but it is an easy A... you just have to put up with his "joking"

Good teacher, who often teaches through situations in his class so keep your eyes open. If he picks on you it means he likes you. He will help you out if you need it, as long as you help yourself. Don't go in for portfolio review without having EVERYTHING done!! Have an open mind and you'll be fine.

He's NUTS! He's really funny and nice, but very disorganized. I wouldn't take his class again because half the time I had no idea what was going on, but it wasn't horrible at all. I did enjoy the class for the most part. We enjoyed many mediums of art and field trips.

Dr. Malley made the class very interesting. He allowed us to do a lot of hands-on activities instead of a lot of tests and other types of assessment. The Krispy Kreme and Bagels were a plus also. He has a very cute dog. I think I really learned a lot about art in his classroom.

elem art w/ dr malley is the best class i've ever taken at ECU in my 3 years here. He is VERY smart and witty. Also, he has a easy going hippy-esche classroom. Be sure to be creative or you won't get the full effect of the course...

He likes to cancel class and have Krispy Kreme days. Not a lot of outside work. He realizes that students have other classes and keeps the work load to a minimum. He is very funny and his class is fun. (He lets you out early too.)
