Try not to fall asleep during lectures. Many of his classes have the potential to be super interesting subjects, but Sawaski has an extremely dry and boring teaching style. He's a very tough grader, and is completely unwilling to change your grade in anyway if you go in to his office to defend your work.

What a cool guy. so accomplished, you will learn so much, he is brilliant, great at delivering the material, and has so many experiences to share. He feels really disrespected when you're late to his class, so dont do that because hes the nicest guy. Take him, you will learn so much and will be motivated to learn more.

he's an a amazing professor, like the others said the best at RWU. i have learned so much in his class. I would defiantly recommend for anyone to take his class. He doesn't take attendance, but if you wanna pass you deff wanna show up. His lectures are really good and very clear cut. I took amazing notes cause he helps outline them. he's very smart

best polsci teacher at the school. You have to work hard, take notes and read everything assigned. Yet you'll love his class and find all the reading very interesting,nothing out of text book. International Negotiations is awesome. Not an easy teacher but you will learn so much. If you like international relations he's your guy

Mark teaches an interesting poli sci class starting with the truman administration. However, be aware that there are only 3 grades; midterm, final and 10 page paper. Its difficult but the course is interesting. I definietely left feeling like I learned something valuable

By far the best teacher I had. His lectures span the whole class but are very entertaining. He uses real life examples and personal stories,when he was in GOV to support what he says Lots of readings for his classes, useally about 5 books per semster. Aldso be prepared to take notes. But if you have a chance take a class with him you will enjoy it.

Two words: TAKE NOTES. If you don't, you will be completely lost on the tests. He was really good about papers though. the entire semester; only 1 paper on a topic of your choice no less! His lectures span the whole class, but a very interesting; not boring in the least, unless you're not a polisci major/minor, but then why would you even be there?
