Dr. Walling is a great teacher. He explains what he means very well and is always ready to help if you don't understand something. Despite what someone else said he is a very professional teacher despite who his wife is. Which shouldn't matter. Overall he is a fantastic teacher!

Like Socrates, Dr. Walling is at his best when teaching under a simple tree in the Southern Oklahoma countryside. Trying to pass on his boundless knowledge to even his brightest students is roughly akin to trying to pour a 5 gallon bucket of knowledge into a shot glass sized brain.

Ha, I didn't know about all the things people are saying on here, but I could see it. I don't really care about his personal/party life, I made an EASY A in this class. I think I have above a 100%. He is kind of boring and class seems to last forever. Take this for an easy A but you do have to apply yourself-it's not a blow off class. attend class.

If you like to party or screw your professors, by all mean sign up. Married one of the students he was banging when I was in school. Eccentric and a bloated idea of himself. Don't know how ECU can have a professor employed that drinks and tokes up with his students as much as he does. VERY Unprofessional. Too concerned with being "cool."

I had this class ONLINE over the summer. He doesn't give any examples of what he wants. He just tries to "explain it out" in 3 pages of BS, which are slapped on webct. Then you have to take that BS and try to figure out what he wants you to do. Then if it's not what he wants, you get docked a lot of points.
