Comment:

Professor Slamet is hilarious and made physics enjoyable (which is something I never thought I would say). This class was required for my major and I was dreading taking it, especially over the summer, but she made physics entertaining and easy to comprehend. Physics is a hard subject but she understands that and teaches accordingly. Great prof!!

Comment:

It's not her fault physics is hard. Anywhere you take it, it will be the same material, the same formulas etc. the exam questions are the ones you do in the homework, sometimes rearranged. If you don't do the homework you won't do well in the class. If you go for help you can easily get from a C to a B. The split version is very slow and worth it

I took this class because I thought the other reviews for Slamet were just because they didn't do well in the class and said the tests were impossible. The tests are not impossible but are HARD. She should slow down because she goes really fast during lecture and its very hard to understand sometimes. Take the split version instead!!

She has a great sense of humor. She makes class kind of fun. She gives you everything you need to do well on an exam. Whether you decide to do the work is up to you. If you take the fill-in notes, do the bookwork and online homework (which is pretty much the same exact problems from the book) and use her homework hints and answers, you will be fine

I used to love physics, but Slamet made me hate it. Her exams were very difficult, and even if you thought you did well on them, she marks off points on the stupidest things. Avoid if possible.

Physics with Dr. Slamet is a living Hell especially over the summer. The class is next to impossible during the year (I'm told) and it's 3x as fast over the summer. If you can avoid taking it over the summer, I suggest doing so. Her partial credit is a bit harsh in my opinion; it appears to be in multiples of 9 or 10 (per Error) limited C.B.E.

I will tell you right now that you should stay away from her. I will say that she is so nice and funny, but do not let that fool you. Her tests are very very hard and looks nothing like what she taught or assigned in the homework. Probably the hardest class on campus, but with her accent it only makes it worse. Something needs to be done here....

She is the worst teacher I've ever had in my entire life. If you take her, make sure you can teach yourself the subject because she does not teach. I am used to getting mostly A's and the occasional B, I'm praying for a C in this class. If you can, go to another college to take this class.

Sooo hard. She is sweet and willing to help all she can, and you can leave her office understanding but you will not know it on the test, I promise. I was a graduating senior and had to drop the class after grades went in because of an unexpected D in the class because the final was insane. I suggest you take the class over the summer elsewhere.

Dr. Slamet's course is a very difficult, and at first I didn't really like her as a professor! The key to doing well in her class is going to see her for extra help...which she offers alot of ou ttside the classroom!! Her class prepares you for the PT program really well!
