Comment:

Dr. Rozett comes from a time in American history when university students were expected to be able to think critically and express themselves clearly and grammatically. The former students here giving negative feedback probably couldn't do the above and are therefore passing the blame on everyone but themselves. I loved Dr. Rozett's classes.

I try to participate, but she doesn't give you much of a chance after you've raised your hand more than once in a class. I don't participate much anymore. Very closed-minded, makes it hard to write papers cause there's almost nothing she thinks is believable.

This professor clearly does not understand what it is like to be a student any longer. While she is very passionate about her field she fails to understand students especially those not majoring in english may not have the capabilities to pick up on some in-depth terminology not required by normal 200 level courses. tough grader, & rude to students

Not much exposure to Shakespeare in the past, and I wish to God I left it that way! Extremely rude. Condescending. Any interpretation other than hers, was not recognized, or appreciated. Lectures include: your personal space violated, monotonous and dull deliveries-aside from HER moaning-, and students praying for the sweet release of death.

This professor is extremely rude and constantly interrupts students while they are answering her questions. She does not have a grading rubric for papers. On one of my 6 pages papers for her class, she took off 20 points because she felt I didn't explain one scene well enough. She is tough, doesn't explain anything, and is unforgiving.

One of the worse professors l have encountered in awhile. A Shakespearean scholar...Happy for her, but she expects everyone to write according to her beloved Shakespeare. She is rude and not open minded

She sets you up for failure by constantly acknowledging the english majors. She does not care about your personal space and will get right in your face if she thinks you are not paying attention. Tests are easy, open book, but she is a harsh grader on papers. Kiss her butt if you want a good grade. Otherwise, she is very annoying.

Incredibly fair and helpful. All exams are open book and go over what she talked about in class. All you have to do is take notes. I didn't think she was rude at all. She just didn't wasn't afraid to tell students that they were wrong (and they were). Just do the reading, pay attention and contribute to class.

Let me start by saying she is incredibly intelligent. She is a extremely harsh grader and will, at times, drop your paper grade after revisions. She is narcissistic. Be prepared to compromise your creativity and personal opinion to conform to her rigid, stubborn, and boring teaching style. If you have any personal problems DON'T tell her.

Questions were the same kind every test. I read all the plays along with spark-notes and did good on the tests. She lets you use the text on the test & you can write in it! The acting proj is easier than the alternative one, too. She is willing to help if you go to her; she doesnt really allow your own opinion but it wasnt so bad, I got a good grad

Taking her currently for a Bernard Shaw class, and it is absolutely terrible. Incredibly vague with her wants, and her class is essentially a read along with no analysis. Not to mention she is a harsh and unfair grader, not great when she gives you a one sentence description for a 7 page essay that is worth 25% of your grade. Best advice, Stay away

Grant it her teaching style is outdated more like stale very traditional with a little pompous mixed in like her fellow colleague Lana Cable.
