One of my fav professors ever - he explains everything using real-life examples, he's really funny without trying to be all the time - there's 5 exams including the final but he drops your lowest one and there's also an alternative assignment you can do for one too - tests aren't bad if you take notes and read over the textbook (easy to read)!

Class is absolutely pointless and exams are so much harder. Allows you to "replace" a test grade with a written assignment, but you have to decide that before you take the exam and either take the exam or not show up and do the assignment.

Remland is hilarious and the BEST. There aren't many assignments just 2 projects and 4 tests. He is very understanding and a great professor. Would take him for every class if that was an option! His tests are a little tricky but if you study you'll do fine also he let us use the text book on the test so it wasn't difficult at all

Martin is a gem! He wrote his own book for the class so he is very qualified. He can be funny at times. His lectures go fairly fast because he uses many videos to lecture with. He gives study guides and practice tests. He let my class use an open book for tests. The tests are fairly hard though. The research project is easy just takes time to do it

Remland is such an adorable guy and his lectures are pretty interesting; however, his tests are extremely tricky and despite the fact that many people do poorly on them, he doesn't change them. Even if you studied extremely hard, you'll be second guessing yourself for the entire test.

He is a nice guy and funny also. His lectures are pretty good overall. Sometimes boring yes, but usually interesting overall. We usually get out early too. His exams were a bit tough, I suggest you go to review day as well as study the study guide. The research project isn't really a project, it's tedious but is great for your grade. He is okay.

He's so chill. Hes also my advisor. Just read over the notes a few times and youre ready for his class. Dont buy the textbook. there is an online version of the one he "makes" you buy and you can get the PDF version. plus you dont need it anyway.

You need to take Dr. Remland for Nonverbal Communication! His lectures are engaging and his sense of humor is great. I think I laughed at least once every class. Take the practice exams seriously, study the study guides and you'll be sure to get a good grade. Definitely one of my favorite classes!

Having him for COM219 was amazing. He's such a sweet guy and he gives you EVERYTHING you need to ace the tests. As long as you print out the slides and take notes on what he says, you'll do well. All I ever did to study was read his slides and I got A's on every test.

I loved going to this class. It was always really fun to learn and was super interesting. Professor Remland is a really nice guy. Make sure you read the chapters in the textbook, study the practice tests, and do as much extra credit as possible. Your grade is only based off of tests which are pretty hard.
